I guess I'll join in....copped release day after about a 10 min wait in line. I've been skipping A LOT of Jordan releases over the past 3 years or so due to the shape of newer Jordans being so "boxy". With that being said I'm so glad I didn't pass on these. The toe box has indeed been corrected over the completely garbage 2012 iteration (I had a pair but sold them and I NEVER sell my shoes). Quality is pretty good too although as someone mentioned earlier the leather on the side panel feels pretty synthetic.

Overall I'm very happy with these. Once again, these are a COMPLETE upgrade over the 2012. If they're still in your closet and you passed on these...well...that's got to suck. Congrats to all that copped.

Mine just came in, there nice. So glad I didn't pass, the black leather on the tounge is nice. Over time the leathers gonna get softer so im looking forward to that. Just what I needed after a really bad few days. IM back like 45!

thats why you have to pick and choose what you buy.

i had the og concords which crap on any xi retro even the first time they were retroed

then i bought the first concord retro xi.

skipped the last concord retro and the concord lows.

now im hungry for another pair of concord xi

they will never ever be able to remaster the concord xi tho. never ever.

the ogs had real patent leather unlike the retros. every single retro after the ogs felt like plastic compared to the thick steel toe like patent leather of the ogs. nike will never ever be able to replicate that because they are too greedy

don't wanna read thru all these pages bc the last i was in this thread it was at page 24. that said, how do these compare quality-wise with the '12s?? and also with the BOBs? specifically in terms of leather... thx in advance.

I have the '12's and ordered the new ones. I honestly like both. I know I'll like these better but I intend on keeping both of them.

That's normal fam. They always send you the UPS email the day they ship and you'll get the shipped email from eastbay tomorrow. Enjoy!

I think so too. These were only sold in a few stores over here in Europe and sold out immediately. I was surprised.
