Will be wearing my 2012 pair now, and letting these chill for a little while.... i'm pretty sure the youngn's will see me with my 2012 pair on and think they're fake cause no 45

It was when the taxi xii low came out. A niketalker or ebayer sold me a pair and the shoes were stamped with an ES on the size tag

Walked in to footlocker last night looking for some Kobes and a raffle ticket for the 5's, they had one size 12 left in these X's. The leather was too soft and they looked too good to pass up on them. My wallet was not happy with me. View media item 1472267

These came via Ups today.
Sold one of my 2012 Chi Xs, to grab em.
Heres the run down, the differences are minor at first glance, in regards to material and shape.
2015 Toe box is more rounded and slightly higher than 2012.
Midsole, and black leather on 2015 is more glossy than 2012.
The pull tabs and lace holder material is swapped on 2015 from 2012.
The back pull tab of 2012 is now the coarser lace loops on 2015, the pull tab on 2015 is the lace loop material on 2012.
Side walls on 2015 are thicker than 2012.
Elastic tongue straps on 2015 is more stretchable and a darker black than 2012.
Overall the 2015s, have a slightly better ,build, shape and appearance than 2012.

Honestly, the differences are to subtle to justify $190. These aren't that remastered. The leather is better. As stated in an above comment, at first glance you can't tell the difference. When you really get up close, you can see the grade of leather used on the 2015 is "slightly" better by the grain. I am partial to keeping the 2012's because the originals didn't have the #45....but the 2015's are closer to the original's over all. I am selling the 2012 to recoup the majority of my loss.

They feel just like my powder blues material wise but my powder blues were made better
My midsole is a bit warped on one and it look like hansolo butt hole was frozen in carbonite on the midsole of the other shoe
Toe is more stiff on these than my powder blues
The ankle padding is slightly more thicker tho
I do like the shape tho

my pear just arrived from FNL. very impressed. the ankle padding is beefy on this release. Leather is softer than my powder & steel X. Shape is also more true to OG.

Got my pair in. So happy I sold the 2012s last year. The leather is softer on these and the shape is way better. Honestly doubt JB drops these again with the 45. Had to get these to go wth my Baron 9s. Never imagined in a million years JB would release 45 PE IXs and Xs.

I got the Legend Blue, Steele's and 2012 and these are better than all of them. The 2012's were barely tumbled at the toe. Plus they're that shiny coated leather.
There's a noticeable difference in leather quality. The Steele's were slightly better than the rest, but they were really thin.
