An epidemic that's plaguing NT...

From what I remember Ninjahood was against all threads that followed the TAN model he just singled out TAN cuz it was the first thread of it's type that didn't eventually die down or get locked/deleted.

The main reason threads like TAN ar successful is cuz of twitter though. The thread operates int he same way that site does. I mean I saw somebody say they disagree with subsections on NT when somebody brought up a movie/tv forum, possible girl advice forum, etc. but that's basically what TAN and other threads like it are now but just in one thread.

Some dudes can't take it and participate anyway and some ppl who don't even post their pics do the most vicious roasting.

I never participated a whole lot in those threads but I'm sure plenty reporting went on them after a while.

sports movies wrestling music ect. I respect alot of peoples opinion on here. I dont have tweeter or facebook. Dont need to when I can come on here a find/ask anything

Pretty much, right now seems like dudes are just too anxious for the summer lulz to ensue... IMO it's usually not a hot summer in General until late June.

PYP's got banned because people were joking on any random dude who decides to post. Who knows if their feeling will get hurt.

For example if there was a pyp, I could make a joke about a regular from the draya or NFL discussion thread because I know they would laugh at it due to their post history.

Randomly making fun of a poster that decides to post his pic is wrong, especially if you don't know how they would react to it. Everyone should feel welcome without expecting to be roasted on their looks/outfit...etc..

Oh and making fun of someones significant other :x So what if Hovkid disagrees with your taste in women? Your gonna go on his wife? Lame.
 
So even if we make a PYP, it'll just get locked, even if the conversation is civil with some jokes in between?

NT has been the same since ive been on it, people come, people go, and some get ran off but the cycle continues.

There were threads in 09-2010 saying they miss the old Niketalk
