Actor Tracy Morgan in critical condition after six-vehicle accident in New Jersey

Yo this is wild, b/c my grandfather went to dover downs yesterday and seen his performance. I hope everyone pulls through man.

ive fell asleep n the road TWICE and almost killed my friend once... ended up on the train tracks next to the road.

i was a turnpiker, so i know truck cats do it...

maybe not you, and not all but dont act like its never been a problem within the field.

lost my boy in the Chesapeake Bay... another turnpiker who fell asleep at the wheel...
 
I use to think ppl were reckless and careless when they said they fell asleep while driving but I've realized it's not a joke and possible if you've had a long day, especially if you're driving at night.

The white lines on the road at night with your lights shining on them can be hypnotic and put you to sleep.
 
Damn...I grew up on Tracy Morgan.  Him, Norm MacDonald, Jim Breuer, and Tim Meadows helped create the golden years of SNL (for me, at least).

Really hoping for the best.
 
I see it all the time at work. Not ALL ppl who cause wrecks are a holes. Especially some of the truckers. It's hard trying to stay awake when you're just purely exhausted. All that driving is almost hypnotizing. I've been guilty of falling asleep once. Thankfully no one was on the road because next thing I know I was going head on. One of the scariest things I've ever experienced.
 
just saw the driver and actually semi-know the dude..... he was a neighbor of a friend of mines.... and would speak short convo whenever he was in town...

Hospitalized Tracy Morgan upgraded to fair condition

(CNN) -- Comedian Tracy Morgan, who was badly injured in a collision June 7, has been upgraded from critical to fair condition, his publicist said.
"Happy to pass along that Tracy has been upgraded to fair condition, which is a great improvement," publicist Lewis Kay said. "His personality is certainly starting to come back as well."

Glad he's back on his feet. Hope his family and his friend's family get taken care of financially.

how did he get 90 m from Walmart when the family of the guy who died in the accident only got 10 m?
 
Maybe because he has a higher earning potential and the suit was based on loss of future wages/earning potential due to his head injuries and physical injuries?

Writer versus performer income? Or maybe as horrible as it sounds, since he died, they're saying that's all he would've earned had he survived over "x" amount of years as a writer? Don't know.
