Thanks for the info, but no thanks to target they aren't getting my information. Any idea if the iPods are going on sale? I planned to cop a couple for my niece and nephew. :nerd:

its a ipad, its a bright colored screen and you can do everything an iphone and any other ipad had.

$200 is a nice deal minus the retina.

i fail to see why someone wouldnt get this unless they have no need for it

Some of the tech IS old though. Not saying this isn't a good deal b/c it is. But the 163ppi and the A5 chip are lacking compared to the 326ppi and A7/M7 found in the rMini. You're essentially buying a small iPad 2.

For basic tasks the average user won't notice the difference in processing speed. But do some intensive gaming or other tasks and the OG mini crawls at times compared to the rMini. Also, remember as time goes on and apps and iOS both become more complex, that older chip may get long in the tooth.

i guess its priced how it should be by now.

but man that retina display.. no going back 4 sho once you get a nice display.. not just speaking with apple products, but everything in general.

but i guess for those who dont care, just giving this as a gift and them seeing its new with the apple logo, is like giving someone who dont know anything about kicks and getting em the latest Team Jordans on discount, but when they see that jumpman logo doe..
 
I got both my kids these for Christmas when bestbuy had the Black Friday sale for pretty much the same price. No complaints at all.
 
Wish this deal was around when I bought my nephews theirs. Oh well.

Might pick one up for my dad for Father's Day.
 
Not a bad deal brand new. I see these on CL for $150 lightly used.

If I wasn't holding out for the fall, I would probably pick one up.
 
Target website has restocked as well as stores

Also Best Buy has lowered their ipad minis to $199

This is the year apple needs to really step it up for the competition. In waiting for the fall as well

My mom and pops both have retina displays and my eyes have pretty much adjusted to those displays.
Every time I try to look at any iPad without a Retina display my vision goes :x

Not a bad deal at all.
