Official FIFA Soccer 15 Thread

For those of you that got the Ultimate Team edition of the game, how many free packs are you getting a week? Is it just 1? Like first they give you the 15 free packs that came with preordering, then you get the 40 after... or did I get screwed out of some packs?

Just the 40 free packs. I think they did without the other 15 they had from last year.


And it is once per week.
 
im getting 2 a week, cause i pre ordered the regular one, got the codes, game wasnt gonna arrive on release day so i went and bought it at gamestop also went for the ultimate edt. since i had a $10 coupon
 
Quick tip: MISDIRECTION!

If you see a potential run for a goal or key pass , let's say coming on the left side, drift towards the right a bit to suck in the defense so when you do pass the player will have more space

  I'm really coming on lately... 4-1-1 in Div 6... on season #6.
 
At this point seasons is almost unplayable. Forget about trying to have any build up play with one touch passing. I don't know if any else is having this issue, but it literally feels like I'm playing with a one second delay. Controls and players feel SUPER sluggish. There isn't any lag at all, it just feels like my players are moving underwater.
 
Did anyone have issues switching from 360 to One? Just bought a One and Fifa and have only won once in 6 games in my first season, division 10 :smh:
On 360 I consistently stayed in division 3 or 4 and would move through division 8-10 with ease to start every year. This is really hurting my ego.

I'm probably already friends with some of you. 80% of the names that log in on my friends list are from previous NT tourneys years back but no longer have a clue who is who :lol:

Switched to a 4-2-2-2 on seasons with Liverpool recently, I've had much greater success with this formation.  Its great for possession play.
 
Vincent Kompany is my savior. I was getting a train ran on me like Ava Devine with the long lob passes but not anymore. Saving my coins for Yaya Toure now.
 
I've been running with my trusty 4-3-1-2 formation :pimp:

I made an all italian team, but I just got tired of saving coins up to decent players

Musa and Martins are pretty cheap and they're pretty fast.

I don't rely on their pace, but I would be lying if I didn't benefit from it.

I'm barely on division 7 with this new squad and account, but my record is so much better than my other account.


Also, have some players become much more affordable as well?

idk, i remember a couple of weeks ago Musa was much more expensive than he is now and so was Valbuena.

Also, ever since my chemistry reached 80 rating or so, my players feel more slugish and stuff.

maybe thats the scripting people keep talking about...

I beat this guy the other night... Think this may have been when I was in Division 6 still... Maybe it was at the beginning of division 5.

Anyone making any big profits on the transfer market? I'm sitting on a bunch of Luiz Adrianos that refuse to sell.
 
Don't even get me started with how the market is this year. It's like people don't even buy TOTW players anymore.

Maybe because it's still a little early. I mean the Market has just stabilized from opening week prices. I hope people are finally building the teams they want and start to spend on pricier players. I'm sitting on a bunch of TOTW Szczesnys right now.

Oh and what a rocket from Tevez fraij :pimp:
 
I've been sitting on 1 IF Szczesny since his TOTW came out and haven't been able to move him since :x

Haven't played too much UT this year but it's a really popular game mode and people are probably just buying packs with Fifa points and/or coming up with those weekly packs from the pre-order. Not to mention people would sell coins and players on ebay on '14 so im sure the same goes for '15.
 
It's impossible to score outside the box in this year's FIFA. All my goals I had to finesse them inside the box
 
So what's this I'm seeing on eBay of being able to buy coins? What's the catch. I'm down to cop a million coins to beef up my poverty squad.
