Adidas ZX FLUX 2014

I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed this or even cares, but I wore my xenos, my first pair of zx fluxes, yesterday casually, and I thought the cushioning wasn't impressive at all. I just walked around some, and at the end of the day my feet were pretty sore. Maybe I've been spoiled by the boosts and unlocked zooms of the world, but for a shoe that is supposed to be extremely comfortable, I didn't find that to be the case.

Not saying I don't still love my pair, but in my opinion the comfort level I experienced was disappointing. I used to have the crazy light 1s, and they weren't known for particularly good cushioning, but I never had a problem with those, even though I hooped in them.

It could just be an issue of personal preference, but did anyone else find the same thing to be true?

Let the man stunt if he wants to. Obviously he doesn't know that Adidas' premier shoe is the ultra boost (for running).

Did 5 miles In them and they seem comfy to ME. My normal running shoes are Nike shox and or fly traps. Sorry for trying out my Adidias running shoe today I'll try to please you next time.

They are a lifestyle shoe though. But hey, do you. you can run in birkenstocks if you wanted to.

It's crazy how from one angle, the colors really pop without flash. But from the opposite direction, no matter what level you look at the shoes from, they stay generally black. And as far as with flash, the same area on the shoes from opposite directions are different colors.... pretty cool.

USPS finally came through with the Xenos courtesy of endeesee endeesee .

Just to throw my hat into the sizing ring, I have pretty wide/flat feet so they fit TTS width wise for me but are definitely at least a half size down for length.

just got my pair in... They look amazing in person and even better on feet.
Everybody needs a pair of these.

I'm good boss. I, personally, wouldn't run in a lifestyle show. They're more flash than performance. I'm older, have flat feet and bum knees so I have to rock running shoes to run (or basketball shoes to play ball...and not talking retros).

But wear what you like.

I wonder how comfortable it would be to run in Yeezy Boosts? Don't have a pair. But Boost is all the rage.

I think running the yeezy boosts would be torture for anyone...

The boost is there so the cushioning is probably pretty good, but it wouldn't be nearly at the level of the pure boosts, or the ultra boosts because the boost is encased in a carrier, which limits how much the boost would be able to compress. This isn't zoom we're talking about, surrounding boost in a foam has a negative performance effect.

Also, the upper looks like you'd break your ankles running in them; either that or the entire upper would tear off the midsole. From what I've seen there's pretty literally no support at all, and the materials would do a terrible job of keeping your foot in the foot bed, they'd be sliding all over the place. I don't think they have a shank plate or heel counter either, which would also hurt.

I feel like yeezy boosts would be some of the worst casual shoes to run in, but that's just me

About running in fluxes, personally I wouldn't, but i wouldn't regard it as unthinkable, I feel like you could get away with it

Hey Peeps, I had posted this a couple of days ago but just realized I posted in the boost section.. my bad.. anyway, here goes a Cut and Paste

Went ahead and UNDS'D my joints today... Mad people checking them out at the mall. Tried on asome Pure Boost.. I could go with a 10 or a 10.5.  Sorry, don't have a professional camera person lol. But I took this with my LG G3 using the Instagram camera

man i hate being broke. i want the xenos so bad, they look absolutely sick, but i just dont have the money for them right now |I

I UNDS mine today also at the mall.  Everyone was checking them out.

I had a couple of people asking me where I found them.

I noticed how they really do catch the light unlike other 3M shoes.

I think it's the iridescent colors that make the reflectivity stand out more.

Even in low light you get something amazing.

In other news, I saw a girl in the Prisms looking for Xenos at Footlocker

and here I come with the Xenos.  She was a little salty because she couldn't find them.

I also got a second look at the Chevron Prisms today and I think I want.

The pattern looks more aggressive in person than in pics.
