Adidas ZX FLUX 2014

I really hope they step this up, it should be able to be done on a desktop or laptop

Be able to change the color of the midsole, strings, heelcage

Have specific Dimensions and dpi for the images

For now I think its a disappointment, we could have photoshopped our own mockups to not buy.

I'll share one that came out ok and was the only image on my phone to work.

Dimensions would be nice but I'm pretty sure there's a way to figure that out. There's plenty of options on the regular Flux so I'm not mad these don't have that option. Hell I knew when I saw the samples that they all had the same black lining and stripes with a white outsole. Changing the midsole color and everything else I'm ok with not being to do because the photo option is limitless. I'm pretty sure the demand is going to be sky high so they're going to want to just crank these babies out. As a consumer we want everything, gotta look at it from a business point sometimes.

will post mine is a second, but if it is saying your pics are too small, download the app "squarely".

Then, upload your pic into the app, and click the button that has as arrow pointed to the left and the right. This will fit the picture onto your screen.

Next, save the pic from the app.

Open the adidas flux app and upload the new pic with the white border, it will allow it.

From a business standpoint, its really not that tbh.

Not giving out dimensions is lazy, I shouldnt have to work around fiddling with dimensions for the only actual part of the custom I can actually change.

Actually if you look back at the reveal party, there were various midsoles and backcages all over the party itself

Demand is unimportant, they already produce the shoes,

you can't tell me slapping laces on is impossible, or changing the base or cage from black or white to a one piece shoe that has to be printed then put together anyway.

I'm all for it being just prints, but graphic prints vs 'the ultimate in shoe custimization' is entirely different.

It's a great start, but not a home run.

I can't really see how chaning one step of the process would be 'asking a lot as a consumer' when it's picking a different puzzle piece basically.

And has it been determined whether the turnback time has been faster or slower then an order of normal fluxes?

maybe they'll reveal the other options later? I believe they're seeing how high the demand is and want feedback from those that ordered.

Just typed out a long response and deleted it.

You're not buying them because there's not enough options, cool.

Buildings come out pretty cool.

Pastelle Pastelle those are awesome, love the Basquiat one.

As far as more options, I have a good feeling they'll eventually add more. Keep it basic now with the extra customization (Midsoles, stripes, liner, etc), let people go crazy for a few months with the photos, then reel them back in with a host of new possibilities.

Yeah I really like the Basquiat one too. I'm liking the last one too I was looking for a birds of paradise print and that came up. It has a floralesque print to it

Since these seem to be able to be made across the pond, Im kinda wondering, does anyone have a zxflux they got made yet?
