From what I've seen of the soccer inspired shoes like the upcoming magistas (and lets not forget the hypervenom mids), the colors won't be monotoned. It will be something like white with black and red, or white with blue and yellow, etc. They need to release the non htm mercurials in black, and restock the grey and blues. Keep it simple. Maybe change the sole from white black. Colors are good but there are so many different shoes with every color you could imagine. The mercurials have a complex design by themselves, they don't need to be further complicated by colors.

Question is. How much did you pay?

I bought the black magista from a reseller for 300. I want the black mercurial as well but the price is too damn steep. You can get 1200 mcdoubles with that money.
So I think I'll settle with the grey mercurials but I still can't justify the price point. I've seen a pair for 500 in a size 9 on eBay.
Hopefully these go down even further.

By the way, thank you guys for your opinions. I really wish I joined this site earlier. I would always just lurk around as an unregistered user. I might talk to my neighbor who's a taylor and amateur clothing designer, perhaps she know knows someone that works with leather and suede. The job can't be too difficult if you have the tools for it.

You're going to end up ruining these shoes. Quit being so anal and appreciate the fact you have a pair. nobody even sees the inside heel anyway.

Well if he paid $200+ for them, he should have gotten what he paid for. Same thing as how people who spent $350 on yeezys shouldn't have their zippers breaking.
 
There will be a few more colorways coming this year I saw the Nike release sheet a few days ago. So sneaker celebrity is right
 
why couldn't the mercurials been released with the SNKRS app.  A lot more of those who wanted totally would have copped.
