No. That's not how it works at all.

Nike owns the rights to the Air Jordan Line, but doesn't own the Jordan Brand? :lol: Straight up ignorance in here sometimes. Jordan Brand is nothing but a subsidiary company of Nike my man. They've hardly ever changed the name of their shoes (See Bred 11's in '12, and the "Concord" 11 Lows in '14) The Columbia->Legend Blue thing barely ever happens, and it has nothing to do with Nike owning JB.

Also, there's no swoosh on Jordan's? :x

ok so i talked to a couple people at the nike store and this is were i learned this i thought the same but they said after nike made the #23 shoe for jb tht jbs contract was up and they made the deal to still make shoes for jordan on tge condition they can still advertise for nike and they split the profits. This all came up because i said y are the changing the names on the jb? They replied jb signed over the rights to everything to become an independent company and only to partner with nike. I didnt undestand this ethier but i figured since they worked their they would no! Like i said i thought nike owned jordan but they said they only partnered. Thats y they make infared instead of red and sport blue instead of blue. Tbh idrk i was going by wat i heard from the manager and a cashier at nike.

Seems like all they've managed to 'master' is the destruction of this particular model..the IV was one of the best Js but man did they kill it.

-You trolling. The article was written then the Melo 4 was dropping. Which would put it around the time the 23 were coming/came out.

-Subsidiary by definitions means that the parent company (NIKE) owns majority of daughter company (JB)
 
I'm not a fan of uppers being a non neutral colour (unless red, cuz I really like red)

I don't like these too much. It's a re-do of the Green Glows and I don't like em as much either.
 
They should offer a free kick in the nuts for anyone who pays for these :lol:
