Who's the Better Ball Handler... Kyrie Irving or Allen Iverson?

A debate a few friends and I are currently embroiled in. It's split pretty much 60/40 in favor of Kyrie.

Weigh in.

Or is this a Player A vs. Player B thread and therefore not allowed?

I think because I'm talking specifically about dribbling and not "who would you rather have," or "who is a better basketball player" it's ok? I don't know Ska what's your ruling?

Weigh in unless (until?) Ska locks it!

I say A.I. because he could get to any spot on the court that he wanted to and no one could do anything to stop him. Kyrie isn't as athletic or quick as A.I. so he may have better/fancier looking moves but he wasn't as effective a dribbler or attacker.

pretty sure AI takes this one easily... he was moving at a different speed

Speed =/= better handles

Ai handles had to do more with his speed & quickness, kyrie got the ball on the string & is way more crafty with it

Ai my fav player ever too

AI would get you with one quick crossover. He depended a lot on his speed and quickness in which Kyrie can't even touch. However, Kyrie would get you with combos. He has a counter move for everything.

My vote goes to Kyrie. AI is my all time favorite player though.

Strictly handles? I would vote Kyrie. AI was so freaking athletic that his speed was what overwhelmed his opponents. His handles were top notch as well, but that speed? Other worldly. He was literally a blur on the basketball court in person. Damn, I miss A.I. :lol:
