Anyone wants to shed some light on their leasing experience?
What vehicle do you have and what do you pay?
Do you recommend leasing?
How is your credit?

I've owned a few cars, always preferred to lease though. 38 month leases. However much down to get the lowest monthly payment. 3 yrs go by in a blink. The benefits of owning a car? Meh, not much.

Here is why leasing is a good deal if you are thinking about buying down the line. Up front you are going to receive a discount on the car which can be equal to the purchase price in terms of money off the sticker. When the lease is up the residual is negotiable and car company's will give you a bunch of money off that cost.

So your paying to rent a car? When u could've just bought by the time the lease is over?

Nah.

Unless u got money to blow and wanna switch up cars every 3 years I understand.

Well that's mainly the point of leasing. People that want to switch it up every few years with less monthly note.

"WE dont lease, we by the whole car, as you should"

CRC gonna get ya. HE GONNA GETCHA!

Buying out a lease is pretty much invariably more expensive than buying upfront (if you know what you're doing)

Have a daily driver and a leased whip, why? Because I want to. Driving a new car every 3 years is dope to me and I could afford it. I rather lease a whip then spend that money on 2 pairs of kicks/ month

The only pro with leasing would be switching cars every 2-3 years. For me, i feel better knowing i own the car....and this is coming from someone who leased before.

Waiting on homey with the mike Vick avy to come in and drop some knowledge...

Is it airblaster?

Also , wouldn't you be able to negotiate the price of the car to buy once the lease is up?

I both own and lease my cars. I prefer to own "reliable" cars that'll last me a long time and just sports cars. Win/Win in my book.

yes, you can. You negotiate the same way you would on a new car.

Y'all must doing these 150 a month 10k miles a year leases
10-15k miles a year is average.

Leasing appeals to two groups: those who want to drive cars they can't really afford and those who can afford to pay payments for the latest and greatest models.

The former are usually new college grads. I know quite a few folks driving BMW Ms. They can barely afford that $1k a month payment but they rolling in $100k cars. They can't really drive too far as well since they're on that restrictive mileage allowance. One of them even dug himself in a deeper hole by buying another car to drive since he burned out all of the allowed mileage for the year in a couple of months.

The latter are usually well off folks who are older in age.

There are some cars I would never own though. Cars like the 7 series or S class, those I would lease hands down. Depreciation is crazy on them. The higher they cost the more they depreciate. Not to mention that driving an outdated luxury big body is like rocking Fubu
