The non stop ********** ads

I haven't had anything in a while but just got 2 App Store redirects. First in S&T then came to General to post in here and it was exactly the same one!

To keep you all updated:

Huddler has been running tests this week to isolate the network responsible via process of elimination.  So far, we received zero new pop-up/redirect reports, so they're going to start reintroducing additional sources soon.

If you encounter a pop up or redirect on your mobile device, please report it ASAP and include as a exact a time as possible.  Doing so can allow us to accurately identify the network or networks responsible for serving these rogue ads.

Thanks!

YouTube has gotten really bad with the ads

I use adblock on NT though. The ads here are extra intrusive
There is an ADBLOCK that blocks ads on YouTube too

That's Droid fam. I'm on my note 4 right now. Cop Firefox off the play store, get adblock, victory.

God bless the makers of that addon.
And how do you propose we pay for the costs of keeping NikeTalk online if everyone blocks the ads?
Becoming unbearable again, every other thread
I'm getting the same thing and I've been forwarding all of the redirection URLs to Huddler.

This is the cost of "free."  Ad-supported services require a certain degree of automation in ad rotations, and that allows some inappropriate advertising, which violates the network's terms, to slip through every now and again.

For users who are here pretty much CONSTANTLY, we could look into providing a limited number of "ad free" subscriptions as an incentive to participating in a group fundraising drive, etc. at some point.  Generally speaking, though, these types of incidents are the exception and 99.9+% of all ads served do not produce pop ups, redirects, or any other term violations.  We'd love for that figure to be 100%, but we have to be realistic and acknowledge that we running an ad-supported service and this is the nature of the beast.

Timely, quality reporting, as practiced here, can help us identify and remove these problem ads as quickly as possible.

Unfortunately, this is a tougher case to deal with because the redirect action prevents me from examining a problematic ad unit in the console to identify the exact point of origin.  We appreciate your patience as we isolate the source.

Lawd Jesus I keep getting sent to that Ellen degeneres page in general and music. Annoying as ****.

I just got this. The difference is that I am on a desktop. I've been getting these every once in a while for the past week, but I kept forgetting to report it.
