I'm still not 100% LeBron even wanted to leave in the first place. He did what his little cliq wanted him to do. They wanted more power. More authority.
 
Riles is offering a bit much, don't know how I would feel about it but I don't really like the idea right now... hope whatever happens works out for us tho
 
I don't get it. Wouldn't bringing in Lopez hinder Whiteside's PT? That kid needs to be on the floor and grow

but at least lopez is better than birdman. reduce some bosh minutes and play whiteside more. idk, as of now our PG problem is bigger than inside rebounding and defending. 
 
I think he is looking for a more offensive big, probably why he went after Josh in the first place (who I don't think that he should give up on)

I think he's done waiting on Blatche and I don't think he has the Nets attention right now for Lopez. And tho I was one of the most critical of Birdman, I will admit that he has been playing well and has improved from his slow start but if they think replacing him will help then it's whatever.

I think in the scheme of things (all the new trades) he is trying to find replacements for Cole and Birdman
 
I never liked the idea of paying birdman 5 mil a year. I also can't stand to watch cole play basketball anymore. Hate to give up on mcbob but would be nice to cut another contract that goes past 2016. On the fence about that trade.
 
I heard Nets declined the offer, which I am somewhat relieved about

I want Riles to make a move, just not a desperate one

We need something at the point more right now. We don't need bigs I think Hassan n the bird do good enough right now.
 
Yea I was kind of hurt for Bird, them trying to trade him

If they can find a good replacement for Cole then I think they should go for it but if it can't be done without drastic action then don't, just bench him and reprioritize the positions or sign a at least competent PG to the empty roster spot

Just not do anything crazy

I think taking Cole out of the lineup (equation) and appointing someone else backup SG (Ennis/Granger) would be godsent
 
I dont believe a word of that lebron story. they had their mouths covered during the christmas game... now all the sudden everyone knows what they were talking about? i still see these coming home commercials. beats new 3 minute commercial is all about him being home with clips of him growing up and everything. total crap. and i also dont believe the whole "lebron just doing what his clique wants" excuses. How can we say lebron is so smart and business-savvy yet dumb enough to be a sheep to HIS posse? 

as for the heat, i dont like us trading birdman. i have 0 connection to McRib so he can go whenever. he didnt pan out. chalmers needs to have one foot out the door before cole though. lopez is a gift and a curse. i feel like if we got him wed be in the same sitution with McRib. He'll play a game or two then snap his s*** up under the rim or something and be out for the reason. But what do i know.
 
The whole point of that potential trade was to have only Chris Bosh and James Ennis on the books for 2016. Brook Lopez definitely would not have been in the long term plans.

Norris Cole won out. He's worth a couple million now and has 2 NBA Championships as a contributor. He's probably going to find his way down to Cleveland after this season anyway.
 
I heard that talks have resumed, I'm not really feelin' Lopez like that though, I don't think they should do it but obviously they see it that the risks are worth it so we'll see

Lmao... he seems like a convenient fix to our most current prob. Why don't you like him? He isn't my first choice but if he can play within' a certain role effectively enough for us to be successful, I wouldn't be mad at it

I kind of have a feeling that they won't move for another PG tho
