You know what's funny... if Ray Allen does decide to go to Cleveland, James Jones could end up being on the bench again.

If he sees the court, hopefully this isn't just for show

Well of course it's for show, jus wanna see him do well

IMO we have more than enough to compete with anybody, but these games aren't played on paper... anything is plausible, I'm not callin it yet, for less or for more

I just don't see this team being mediocre or struggling like some people may think. We lost a big piece, but we have enough to compete in the East. We have enough experience, talent, and pedigree to make a good run. The only question right now is health and fatigue.

If everyone stays healthy and Wade, Granger, and Deng play up to their potential we are easily a top 2 team in the East. But that's a big IF. Definitely top 4 with a good chance to make it back to the ECF.

This team needs to be centered around ball movement and solid defense. We no longer have the athleticism to play that quick run up and down style. We have to be smart and crafty like the Spurs.

Free agent guard Toney Douglas will play in China this season, reports David Pick of Eurobasket.com. We hardly knew ye!

Random Tidbits

Among power rotation players, the Heat has shown interest in Emeka Okafor and has considered Ekpe Udoh. Preliminary inquiries were made on Andray Blatche and Jason Maxiell

The Heat is serious about adding another shooting guard and a big man if it can find two good ones willing to take the veteran’s minimum. After recently working out Jordan Hamilton (who signed with Toronto) and Chris Douglas-Roberts, the Heat also has inquired about Leandro Barbosa and Jordan Crawford, who both hold appeal to Miami

Dwyane Wade said on social media that he has spent the past few days working out with Mario Chalmers, Norris Cole, Udonis Haslem and Josh McRoberts at Indiana University, which is coached by Tom Crean, Wade's friend and former coach at Marquette
