Regarding the hoop base, the gym i play at hangs from the rafters instead of having a base. I know players played with bases all there life but he would have been fine had there been no base there smh
nah he would have popped his ankle as hard as bruh came down

NBA definitely needs to look at providing more space for players especially having those damn photographers so close to the baseline. player safety should be a top priority after something like this, regardless if you want to classify this as a "freak" injury.

Dudes actually making fun of him on Twitter for some retweets...

I know you mad now but maybe you should just drop it and stop replying to everybody that calling out that stupid as post. Nobody has agreed with you cuz it didn't look like no damn ankle dislocation

I don't need a cosign... I speak for me

College arena's stanchions are closer than NBA arena ones. That was UNLV's arena.

Pretty sure he'll be out the whole season. I'll wait for the official report on the injury though. Just hoping there aren't any torn ligaments or meniscal tearing

Hibbert didn't even say anything wrong.

The hell ya'll talkin about.
one word tweets dont do justice when a team mate get's hurt. if you are gonna issue a statement about a hurt teammate atleast say something other than wtf or damn

USA has got no reason not to win every ******* game by 50-60 pts. Everyone should be fired up.

#PrayforPG

What a sad day for the Pacers org and the rest of the NBA

end of the day this is a freak injury that happens 1 out of billion times man. Think of all the college games, summer league games (at unlv) and nba games past few years and you never saw someone injured like that on the base. smh

just happened to happen to a high profile star

Twitter isn't a "issuing a statement".

Them ****** pick their phones and tweet on impulse like everyone else. He said "damn" and "wtf". Those are SHOCK reactions.

man shut up with that crap. you dont know the dude. hes clearly in shock his teammate just broke his leg. its a tweet saying 2 worrds to express shocked reaction.

Once Drummond reacted like that I knew it was bad. Its just nobody ever reacts like that to an ankle sprain since most of the time you cant see **** until you take off your shoe.
