I agree with shoeking. Not many guys can put up 30+ ppg while shooting a ridiculous 50-40-90 and also being damn near 7'
 
i have said this before, but outside my heat team... my favorite player is steph curry. i really thought dude was gonna flop in this league... dude proved me wrong

Lmao I mean what A.I. did as a scorer in this league is incredible. I admire how fluid and easily KD moves to be 6'10.5 just like how I admire how prolific A.I. was at 6 feet. Both are indeed scoring marvels that come along once in a lifetime. When you look at what A.I. did as a scorer in the league, you shake your head in disbelief because how prolific he was despite his size.

But you have to shake your head times 10 when you watch what KD is doing right now. People aren't gripping how special he is and that's why it's hard for people to conceptualize KD as being the best scorer the league's ever seen. Like I said, when you look at how prolific he is, in conjunction with how efficient he is, it really isn't hard to see why one would have that opinion about him. I mean 32 a game on 50 40 90 is absurd. Just look at what he's doing in the league right now. Its self explanatory.

I love when senile MJ fans come out the woodwork when someone makes a comment like Durant = potentially greatest scorer ever and after like 2 pages of facts, reality checks, and statistics are brought to light, they're no longer anywhere to be found.

Early on: high usage rates, high FG% with a terrible 3 point game. As he added the 3 pt game and fadeaway, he lost some athleticism and his overall FG% went down. Now the senior citizens in this thread would have you believe that MJ at one point had it all: a 3 pt shot, FG% > 55%, fadeaway, post game, and historically high usage rate, hair, ....with dunk contest athleticism to round that... The problem is: that's not true; MJ evolved.

I mean when u averaging 30+ 50 40 90 to point out his mediocre post game is nitpicking. How efficient this dude is he doesn't need a super polished post fame at this point. That ain't his main problem for him not having a ring right now. Dude is a 2 guard in a 6'11 body. Has the skillset + size combo we've never seen before. Seeing how he is only what 25? I'm interested in seeing what he can become

KD does have a post game tho. They run that pick and roll with Russ to get KD on the block all the time. He gets into a triple threat faces up and hits the shot and he can beat his man off the dribble. He can get to the rack and finish or he can stop and pull up. He can back down and hit a turn around or fade. Just because he dont look like Duncan out there dosnt mean he has no post game.

Chill bro kd vert game aint that serious just hes so long, he can dunk easily and yam it on folks, his vert is 34 inches, which is great for a big

If anything i concur that kd is gonna be the greatest offensive player to touch the game, his gifts are insane, and its not like he needs to add anything just keep on doing what he has already done

He's using that vertical, crossover, and overall game to put up historically great and efficient seasons in the most advanced era in NBA basketball when it comes to schemes, advanced analytics, strategy, etc. And the near-consensus (would be consensus if MJ nostalgia didn't exist) is that this is clearly the most athletic NBA era the game has ever seen. 

What else do you need Durant to do for folks like us to say he's arguably one of the greatest scorers of all time without it causing some type of MJ reaction?

I'm calling you a troll because the evidence is being presented to you and you consistently dodge it or bring up something dumb like KD has no post-up game which by the way, if the threshold for post-up game is LeBron, the MOST efficient post up scorer since prime Shaq, then that means the only player with a post-up game ever is prime Shaq and maybe Wilt.
