Someone said Phil doesn't associate with losers and then mentioned Melo

I think some irony was missed there since Melo is one of the biggest playoff losers of all time

The knicks werent healthy last season

Atlantic champs

JR back hopefully shump been in the gym

Hopefully amare & dirt nowitzki can be serviceable for a whole season

Funny thing is the players you mentioned will be the only players on the roster after this year. Maybe outside of shump. 2015 really is THAT year where we dump our crap and reload. I made a list of FA that I think we can get in our thread....
most i didnt mention because i dont realistically think knicks have a shot at them or they wouldnt make much of a impact to the point of making the knicks contenders.

2015 FA I'd be interested in and we have a realistic shot at.....

PG:
Goran Dragic
Reggie Jackson (R)
Rubio (R)  (Matched or extension with T-Wolves)
Rondo  (Will be traded)

SG:
Aaron Afflalo
Marco Belleneli
Danny Green
Wes Matthews
Klay Thompson (R)  (Matched or extension with Warriors)

SF:
No need for one. But i'm down to offer Kawhi the max
smokin.gif

PF:
Lamarcus Aldridge  (Re-signing with Blazers)
Kevin Love  (Will be traded)
Tyler Handsbro
Paul Milsap  (Resigning with Hawks)
Kenneth Faried (R)  (Contract will be matched, maybe sign-and-trade)
Thad Young

C:
Omer Asik
Marc Gasol  (Re-signing with Grizz)
Robin Lopez
Nikola Vucevic (R)  (Matched by Orlando)
This is more realistic

Shaq didn't win anything before Phil either.

That last part doesn't apply to Melo. You sound like you're talking about T-Mac.

i like frizzy k... but if im a owner i wouldnt offer him a max contract... i could see 15 mil or so... and even still with melo there dont see how that would work. And they need a scorer/playmaker who can relieve some of the pressure offa melo... or a pg that could make it easier for melo to score and dont have to work as hard to get points...

Kawhi doesnt really fit that mold... plus they desperately need some defense and possibly a inside presence.

Shaq was only in the league for 4 years before Phil, and made it to the Finals. I count that as winning something.

but he did lead a team to the finals... and pretty much phil or no phil shaq was gonna eventually get a ring. i cant honestly say that about melo.... especially this far into his career and never even making it to the finals

plus this

alot of ppl like to clown the tmacs etc... but melo has the worst playoff record/performance of any player in the last 20 years.... he needs some help

Rubio wants the max. Twolves not giving him that
Millsap is not staying with the Hawks.
LA would have signed that extension already. Said he wants to test FA also.
Faried was about to be traded. He's not resigning.

I agree with Rondo, Klay, and maybeee Marc.

I don't consider that ORL team as winning with Shaq. I mean if that's the case I could say Melo led his team to the playoffs his rookie year unlike any other rookie. That **** aint winning.

While his record (with one team for so long and then the Knicks) is terrible I can't call Melo's playoff performance in to question. Like it can't be a team thing one moment and then a solo criticism the next.

Exactly some have so much hate they see stuff the way they want to. And if anything CP3 and losing should come up alot quicker than Melos does. CP can't get pass the 2nd round atleast Melo has sniffed a conference finals.
