STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON MOVIE RELEASE DATE 8/14/2015

Suge need to give the OK on a death row movie. How he had everybody scared of him, put the battery in PAC back, if he let them leave etc.

You guys are really stripping down the term producer when you try to discredit Dre for his work with those beats.

Really loved the movie, especially since all the music was basically what i grew up with. Of course there's exaggerations/inaccuracies but they did a damn good job.

It's so much controversy and conspiracy theories bout what was really going on and who was around that it would never be accurate. Leave it for suge to tell it, it might b a boring story cuz he ain't tryna implicate himself bout anything lol...would b a good movie IF told right tho

I dont think suge owns deathrow no more.

Would be a very crazy movie tho a death row one that is.

They would need to include the vanilla ice suge knight incident tho. Let the real vanilla ice play vanilla ice

Didnt anthony mackie play 2pac before?

To those growing up and remember the Easy incident vivdly in the 90s, when he was announced with HIV. Did he die quickly after like it seemed in the film.

Doctor said 6months to live, then he died? Cuz if time passed then he died and Cube nor Dre saw him in that span then thats foul.

cold in early January while in NYC
pneumonia by lat January
HIV discovery in February
Full blow AIDS and dead by March

every one said he was completely fine around new years and before then

Bone said he looked healthy and was wrestling with Wish Bone

Damn what took Dre and Cube so long to see Easy? They knew aids wasnt a joke. Once they announced it, im surprised they didnt rush to see em.

Eazy was in the hospital for over a month, but it seems they waited until his final 48 hrs to announce it

Man Yella, Ren, and other ppl knew. Im sure they got word. Only reason I can come up with is Easy legit thought he'd bounce back, and didnt want them to see him laid up in a hospital. But when things took a drastic change and he got comatose, it forced them to come and get their goodbyes.

Thought I was the only one noticed the forced Dre bravado scenes but all that **** aside the movie is an instant classic in my book

Let's get a public enemy movie or documentary going. These kids nowadays don't know who chuck d is and only know flava flav as the forefather to ray j and the games love shows

they need to make a pac biopic already

its was supposed to be already shot and in production but John Singleton backed out when the big wigs started disrespecting Afeni Shakur

the guy that plays 2 Pac in Straight Outta Compton is the guy John Singleton had playing Pac in the biopic and since the biopic fell a part he referred him to Gary Gray for this film

John Singleton said he is still gonna do the Pac biopic but how he wants it done without all the extra people who wants hand in the pot. He said he wants it just him and Afeni

Here is john on set of Straight Outta Compton with his guy

Yeah this one was funny. There was also one of the real news clippings that they used in the movie where the guy was talking about "gangsta rap" and in the background one of the CDs was the second Leaders of the New School albums which was released late '93 and they were using this in the scene where NWA was really hitting which was like '88. And then showing Tupac in the studio of what I'm going to assume is like '94 by the timeline they're giving there and he's recording "Hail Mary" which didn't come out until years later. In my mind the timeline in the movie where they showed Pac he should have been in jail. I don't know, the last third of the movie kind of felt told completely out of sequence, but it still didn't ruin it for me. Having lived through the era it was a great movie.

And they also had Karl Kani in the movie from a scene that was supposed to be in the late 80's-90 from what I recall. Even though the company technically existed, that design was more mid 90's. He had the metal emblem to reduce bootlegging from the script logo he popularized.
