After seeing straight outta compton im starting to like those type of movies which are biopic... i think its better than those comic book movies even though some are good they are getting played out

Been wantin to see the movie again. Aint about to pay to go ti the theaters again. Bootleg man said he has the legit copys. Movie made a killing so i dont see the problem.

This is what I need to do for real. A friend of mine wanna go to the show, but I ain't trying to pay the price of admission again when we can watch it at my place comfortably.

really enjoyed the movie. growing up i was a feen for rap. got into eazy e, dre and cube after nwa split up. just in general i enjoy anything 90s.

i agree they glorified dre a bit much, but every movie has to have a character you can root for. they did show him being quite an absent father which is a legit knock on him.

best part about watching in the theater was that the sound was on point.

Yall are crazy talking about these other artists biopics... its very hard to be popping so much in an era where everyone knows you via the media. In the 80s and 90s TV was everything. NWA was on CNN at the height of its relevancy. MTV covered the era like no other and guess what NWA was smashing that too. Everybody (white black hispanic asian etc) knew who NWA was. These modern day times of recycable and disposable media makes these times less memorable amd moreso sensational in terms of popularity.

Repped. The era ofshared mass cultural experiences is gone. It's all niche cultures and fragmented experiences. There's something out there for every kind of interest now, so everyone being into the same thing won't happen again unless the internet disappears.

Besides that, there are very few groups/artists that the masses would care that much about. NWA is still interesting because of the careers that happened after the break up and the groups that came up under them. They are one of a kind.

this is true.

I think Jay Z is far too current to have a biopic done on him. Are biopics really interesting to people when the person is still heavily in the public eye?

Movie would last 5 minutes tops

Big n pac die. Jay z come in an steal errrrything. The end.

Menace set the tone and YG can barely read from what I heard

Menace wasn't acting. He was just being himself lol

Gonna watch this again, hopefully without any violence
