NT NBA Redraft: BigJ is on the clock, Allen, ShoeKing, and Osh on deck, DCA 4 Pres

With our final pick, the Money Team selects: Mr. 4 Years Away, Bruno Caboclo, F.

awwsome and I outchea Manziel-ing with the daydrinking. If Bruno's good enough for Ujiri, that's our guy.

I should've just taken Gary Neal, that was stupid. I convinced myself I needed more of a pure PG, but Neal can handle the ball well enough and Pressey struggled with both his shot and decision-making last year anyway. Maybe I just subconsciously wanted a Celtic on my team in the last round.

Brook Lopez (26, 7'0", 7'5½")
Serge Ibaka (24, 6'10", 7'4")
Luol Deng (29, 6'8", 7'0½")
Jeremy Lamb (22, 6'5", 6'11")
Nate Wolters (23, 6'4¾, 6'3¾")

Brandon Knight (23, 6'3", 6'6¾")
Tiago Splitter (29, 7'0", 7'2")
Andray Blatche (27, 6'11", 7'2")
Mike Dunleavy (33, 6'9½", 6'9")
MarShon Brooks (25, 6'5¼, 7'1")
Darius Miller (24, 6'7½", 6'9")
Jon Leuer (25, 6'11", 7'0")

Lopez/Splitter
Ibaka/Blatche/Leuer
Deng/Dunleavy/Miller
Lamb/Brooks
Wolters/Knight

Nothing sexy about it, but I would feel alright about them in real-life basketball. In a video game...? Eh.
Payroll: $58,384,142 (not counting Blatche and Brooks)
Average age: 25.9
Average height: 6'8½"
Average wingspan: 6'11½"

Really curious about their most recent 2K rankings. I can't seem to find that anywhere online.

My team is decent for where it was picked. We'd probably be fighting for a mid or low playoff spot though.

Eric Bledsoe / Pablo Prigioni / Matthew Dellavedova
Terrence Ross / Gary Neal
Trevor Ariza / Martell Webster
Aaron Gordon / Mirza Teletovic
Chris Bosh / Elton Brand / Kyle O'Quinn

Average age is 27, salary is $57.2 million (counting Bledsoe's current qualifying offer with the Suns).

What my team hangs its hat on: The starting lineup is made up of good and/or athletic defenders, so they can cover a lot of ground.
Cons: Bledsoe's the only guy who can create plays on his own in the SL; the shooting can be shaky; and there's not a lot of size. So my bench is there to plug in a playmaker, a shooter, or a rebounder as needed. There's gonna be a lot of moving Bledsoe to the 2 and Bosh to the 4.

This team would probably get washed in a 2K sim, but if we did 2 or 3 years, I bet the rankings for Bledsoe, Ross and Gordon would all shoot up  :smokin

I actually like your team a lot ESPECIALLY for you to have the 20th pick. You have a capable #1 in Bosh, a young up and coming potential star in Bledsoe, a potential star or at least elite defender in Gordon, veteran 3-D guy in Ariza and you have a solid bench. You're very athletic and would probably be one of the faster teams in the league, but your frontcourt defense may suffer. Its possible that with Bledsoe, Ariza, an improving Ross, Gordon and solid defender in Bosh that you may be okay. You will struggle with the teams that have size up front, though.

My team:

2014-15 Depth Chart:
PG – Russell Westbrook / Andre Miller / Jordan Farmar
SG – Tony Snell / Manu Ginobili
SF – Chandler Parsons / PJ Tucker
PF – Noah Vonleh / Jarnell Stokes
C – Jonas Valanciunas / Mason Plumlee

CP, can you move PJ Tucker to the bench and Snell as the starter please?

I like a 9 man rotation of Miller, Ginobili, Tucker and Plumlee.
My only real area of concern is at PF, but I do think Vonleh and Stokes will provide enough for me. Both players are good rebounders, Vonleh will primarily operate in the high post, Stokes will primarily operate in the low post.

I know Stokes tested well from an analytical standpoint and Vonleh is a lottery pick. I will be running a lot of small ball lineups with Parsons and/or Tucker at PF, so PF may not even be an issue. I feel really good about my backcourt. I have a good mix of athletes, shooting and vets. I’m really hoping Snell can make a nice 2nd year leap this upcoming season to make my selection look much smarter. I have a variety of combinations I can use between my guards and forwards. I really like what I have at center as well. Two players that are continually improving and both bring different things to the table.

Of course I like my team, but I really do think I have one of the best, most well organized benches in the league. Miller, Ginobili, Tucker and Plumlee would more than likely be my top 4 players off the bench. Farmar and Stokes as my 10th and 11th men would be good enough to give minutes to in case an injury occurs. I think having Miller and Ginobili on the team will cool Westbrook down in terms of being out of control so much (maybe, maybe not lol). I just need to make my last pick and I'll be set. :pimp:

From a 2k standpoint, Russ will be in the 90's, Manu, Parsons, Valanciunas will be in the 80's. Snell, Tucker, Miller, Plumlee will probably rate somewhere in the 70's. Miller may possibly end up in the low 80's.

I refuse to make another pick (so things will go sort of like they have been) if my team isn't weighed with a healthy Paul George.

****.

I came close to taking this kid just to say "he's two years away from being two years away."

Jrue Holiday
Victor Oladipo
Wilson Chandler
Zach Randolph
Joakim Noah

Moe Harkless
Donatas Motiejunas
Austin Rivers
Jimmer Fredette
Shabazz Napier
Meyers Leonard
Lucas Bebe Noguiera

Good amount of potential and a decent ability to win now. Starting 5 will do work defensively. Harkless is a very good 6th man with a bright future. Motiejunas has been working out with Olajuwon and he's coming along nicely. Rivers comes from a good basketball pedigree. He's struggled, but like @do work son said to me earlier, he's got confidence issues and once those are addressed he should be a good rotation plater/scorer off the bench. Jimmer is wet. That Mormon could shoot. I like Leonard's athleticism, but he's got some work to do. Thankfully, he'll be challenged each day by Joakim and Bebe so he should come along nicely with time. Bebe runs the floor well and could play defense and protect the rim. He'll be useful in transition and when we pressure the ball.

If Brooks is still available and Captain sticks with him, Cake will select C Robert Sacre.

@ColdCity will be on the clock, 16 picks needed to close tomorrow.

I'm like 99% sure my pre edit guess was right

I edited it so nobody would spite you and pick him
