You know I was considering him with my last pick being that he was a Grizz. :lol:

P built the 2011 Nuggets team that everyone was so in love with and ended up losing in the 1st round because they had no true go to scorer. Still a very solid team, though.

I'm pretty sure I have the Pacers, with a much better PG.

Lance, Kawhi as Paul George, and Asik as Hibbert.

Smart is just much better than George Hill hopefully.

The scary thing is your backcourt can either be really, really, really good or really, really, really, unstable. :lol: It really depends on what day of the week it is.

Kind of already having second thoughts on the Koufos pick. :lol: Maybe I was better off with Wright as my backup center like he is with the Mavs in real life and selecting a power forward.

But he's really good value in the ninth round.
 
I can't ever take Koufos or Mullens seriously ever since I read Don't Put Me In Coach :lol:

Mainly I would use Lance on Thomas, and have Smart guard Korver since all he is gonna do is chase screens.

Asik has zero problem with Hibbert, and Jones handles Thompson fine.



If you think that Sessions and Meeks are going to defend anybody, I wish you a lot of luck. Your rebounders would be rebounding the ball out of the basket after all the layups they provide mine, and every other team.

Hibbert led a top end defense, because he had top end defenders around him, George, Lance, West, now all he would have is LeBron. If you consider Korver a defender, ok, and Isiah and Sessions as a PG tandem defensively is about as dreadful as any team in the real NBA could have. 2 turnstyles. Hibbert would foul out before halftime.

*shrugs* At least you have LeBron. So always a punchers chance I guess.

LeBron had a 31.1 PER. 28.2 / 7 / 4 on .571/.519/.793 against the Spurs in the finals. Please put Kawhi on him without Tim Duncan, Tony Parker & Manu, Boris Diaw and even Pop to make it easy on offense. Please do so.

Roy Hibbert Opp FG% at the Rim was 41.4%. 4th in the league in blocks. Centers averaged a 13PER against him.

LeBron held SFs to 10.0 PER. Paul George 14.1 PER, and LeBron held SFs to a 2% less eFG% than Paul George.

Compare our SGs guarding other shooting guards per 48.
eFG% .451 - .484 RP48 4.9 - 5.7 AP48 3.3 - 4.7 TO49 2.3-2.9 PF48 3.3 - 3.1 PP48 19.6 - 19.0 PER 11.0- 12.8 Lance is a better defender, no question, but one guy is a marksman who had the 4th best TS% in the entire league, and now plays with LeBron (5th best TS% in the league).

Your PG can't shoot. All IT2 needs to do is give him an extra step of space, and give him the shot. If you're so worried about his defense. He certainly is much faster than Smart to make it up, if Smart tried to drive from the perimeter. I'd live by Marcus Smart shooting 3 pointers all game long.

And Thompson can handle Jones, just as well as Jones can handle Thompson. They cancel each other out.


3 of my starters are solid defenders, LeBron & Korver get paired with better defenders. Hibbert gets LeBron who guards better than PG24, and Korver who held his own at his position on a middle of the pack defense, and wasn't that far behind Lance with much less superior defensive teammates.
