NT NBA Redraft: BigJ is on the clock, Allen, ShoeKing, and Osh on deck, DCA 4 Pres

don't mistake me not liking your team, to mean it's a bad team

personal bias against lillard, but admittedly he's nice (even if he doesn't play defense). never liked faried and i hate MCW.

lillard
MCW
Mcbuckets
Faried
Nerlens

can't really put my finger on it, but something about that starting 5 irks me

It all depends on who is avaiable when I make my next two picks, but my projected starting lineup might be too offensively inept while my bench is comprised of some defensive liabilities. Might have to balance out the two by switching a few players.

Jordan
Gibson
Wright

Wiggins
Afflalo
Belinelli

Beverely
Chalmers

I'm looking to move one of my better players as soon as I can. I picked up a guy in the later rounds that I believe is a starter

My team:

PG: Chris Paul
SG: Avery Bradley
SF: Rudy Gay
PG: Jared Sullinger
C: Tim Duncan

Bench:
Kevin Martin
Randy Foye
Anthony Bennett

LTB gotta let MCW run the 1 and Dame at the 2. Change Dame's position to SG in 2K, god mode rating = championships :smokin

That's exactly where I have them in my head

DWS I respect your opinion no hard feelings man. We're Here to debate and discuss :smokin

But if you don't like Lillard then it makes sense because he's my cornerstone

I know MCW had a really bad shooting rookie year % wise... But I really feel like it was due to having NO help. I mean straight D-League skilled teammates... He was forcing way too much.

He has a much better team this year especially with Noel back. That takes a load off of his shoulders and I feel like we'll see his assist numbers go up, FG % go up, and turnovers go down.

Overall i could be wrong of course, but I see his efficiency sky rocketing this season. That's what I'm banking on.

If it does, I don't see my team losing to anyone 2-3 years from now.

MCW - Play making
Lillard - Scoring, Go-To Crunch time Player
McBuckets - Shooting
Faried - Rebounds, Defense, athleticism
Noel - Rebounds, Defensive wall in the paint, high offensive ceiling

Olynyk will breakout this year hopefully cuz dude can ball.
Rice and Porter need a few years but they'll be key contributors off the bench over time especially Rice and his bench shooting.

We ain't ready to win now, but if my young guys turn into what I think they all will I don't see anyone beating them in a 7 game series 3 years from now... IMHO of course.

Like the squad LTB but Faried ain't really a good defender though.

Maybe not the best 1 on 1 defender but he can do this...

I think I goofed not going with Marc Gasol and Tony Parker with my first two picks. A Gasol-Parker-Afflalo-Gibson-Small forward start probably gets me competing for an imaginary championship right away compared to what I have right now.

But I really wanted to see what I could do with Jordan and Wiggins' athletic advantages.

Of course nobody likes my team, I wouldn't have it any other way. :pimp:

Nick Calathes.

At this point, I need some help with positions.

I don't know Ekpe Udoh's position either. I need you guys to list them for me so I don't have to look them up later.

Lol my bad. He's a PF/C. amazing shot blocker/rebounder when healthy. Backup 4 for me

Patty Mills
Monta Ellis | Troy Daniels
Andre Iguodola | James Ennis
Anthony Davis | Ekpe Udoh
Gorgui Dieng | Rudy Gobert

I like what I've got going

I think I have a quality team, but it really depends on Vonleh. Every position is solid except for PF. Once I know what I'm getting from him, I'll have a better vision of our expectations.

Westbrook - the star
Tucker - 3D tough guy
Parsons - shooting SF, pretty good IQ
Vonleh - potential stretch 4; rebounder
Valenciunas - solid length, low post scorer, rebounder, defended

Ginobili - 6th man, veteran/championship experience, secondary ball handler
Plumlee - athletic 3rd big
Farmar - solid backup PG; can play with Westbrook

A couple of downfalls...

- I'm not sure how well Russ would perform as the #1 option. May be too much to handle and could lose a lot of games because of it
- I've already mentioned Vonleh
- maybe not enough scoring options? If Russ gets hurt, who else can take over a game outside of manu?
