Been popping for almost 6 years. Want to learn how to lock and improve my salsa and swing dancing skills.

@RUSTLENOMICS
around how much did that synth put you back if you dont mind me asking.

Can someone suggest me any music software for beginners? I have a mac if that matters.

I think you can get fl for mac now without that other program to have a windows portion on the screen. I want a mac too, gonna start saving up for a mac mini and scoop up Logic along with it.

Nice Moog @RUSTLENOMICS I can't wait til I can afford one of those, the bass sounds always funky. :pimp:

Hell yeah bro, nothing's productive like a good workout.

I used to go on this site to draw, the idea is it cycles through pictures of people and you're supposed to sketch them in the set time given. Helps if anyone wants to practice anatomy.

damn wish i had time for more hobbies, but between work and taking care of my kid, free time is a very limited luxury.

only real hobby i do on a regular basis is jiu jitsu. im thinking of buying a bmx bike just for the nostalgia and also because the mental picture of a 34 yr old man messin around with a bmx bike in front of his house sounds fun and funny to me.

Jiu Jitsu? Did you take classes for that? I heard it's like the most practical form of martial arts.

Bought a DSLR to give me something to do.

Trying to shed this large amount of fatty tissue on my body :-(

I work out a lot. and read quite a bit. Lots of personal development books and biographies. I work and am in grad school, so that limits the frivolous free time some. I want to learn a couple languages when I finish school. Oh, I play jeopardy everyday. I'm so good at it.

if it's any conciliation - you know what kind of scripts they write for broken bones

yep take classes several times a week. wish i had time to train more. i train mostly because its fun and a good workout, but also because its nice to know a functional form of self defense (and hope i never have to rely on it) in my opinion though, the absolute best form of self defense though is checkin your pride and ego wherever you go. whenever people ask me about training brazilian jiu jitsu and bring up being able to choke fools out in a fight, i always tell them that my first reaction to any physical altercation would be to use my chevrolegs and high tail it out of there. no shame in my game. i go almost 6' 200lbs and i dont care if some little 135lb soakin wet pile of sticks is tryin to pick a fight. why bother engaging if i dont have to? got too much to lose to mess with that sort of tomfoolery.

Yeah much respect. I know what you mean with the self check, but it doesn't hurt to know how to fight either. How much are the classes you take?

I have a wife, 2 kids, a job with a 2 hr round trip daily commute, and an 18 year old house (that needs work done to it)

That said, I don't have that much time to devote to hobbies.

But my hobby is pistol shooting. Because of this, I have gotten into handloading my own ammunition. Thats how I spend my free time (and unallocated money)

160/mo but it varies depending on where you live. LA and NYC are probably most expensive. The name of your coach/academy may also factor. I go to the gym I go to because its the one nearest my house (so its convenient) and I really like the coaches and other students there. I'm guessing the price they charge is somewhat attributed to the fact that the head coach/owner of the gym is fighting for the UFC Heavyweight title coming up (Fabricio Werdum) so probably a lot of people are willing to pay this much to say they train with a world champion. At a top academy in NYC (like Renzo Gracie's) its probably even more, like $250+/mo.

I'd say average is probably around $100/mo.

Yikes I didn't realize classes were that expensive but I guess it's worth it in the end.

And trolling or not that photo is beautiful.
