Im not gonna say its been a weak year for tapes because I havent heard too many.

But the only good tape out of the ones I heard is 28 Gramz.


And BMW 2

Having heard pretty much every project this year, the others are right....This year is weak.


The weskest year in mixtapes maybe, ever........Serious. This is a historically bad year in mixtapes. If there are any hungry artists that want to blow up right now, they sure as hell aren't using this opportunity to take the year by storm. This year is up for grabs.

Last year was MUCH better though bro, and so were years past.


2014 is just a bad year in mixtapes, and music as a whole honestly.


Just in 2013 we had

Dreamchasers 3,
Bluechips 2,
Soul Tape 3,
New Jet City,
Wrath of Caine,
Acid Rap,
Fireworks,
King Remembered in Time.


NOTHING this year touches any of those projects. This year IS a bad year. Even album wise nothing special. Then again oxymoron wasn't for me. Mastermind was whatever.


Feel free to share the good music, because obviously the rest of us are missing out.

Cocaine Riot 3 was meh to me. Cocaine Riot 4 is straight basura-mode. **** sounded like they recorded it in a dumpster with them trash *** songs.


CB4 is a 2014 release but still doesn't **** with any of the 2013 tapes I mentioned.


and I **** with Chinx, French, Coke Boyz heavy. Just wasn't doing it.

I'm what you would call a typical old school/underground hip hop head. That Cocaine Riot 4 was the first mixtape I've downloaded in years. Thought I was doing it big like you young boys downloading that smh. Recommend me something dope/hood/fresh
