Mixtapes Of The Year....So Far

The fact ppl are naming 28 Grams as one of the best mixtapes of the year is a perfect example of how bad this year has been. And I NEVER complain about that type of stuff cause I constantly try to listen to new things & new artists but nothing has stood out at all this year

Have you seen your hairline lately?

If y'all can say this is wack than you probably are in love with Drake,Tyga,Young Scooter, Lil Durk and all them wack *** half hit wonders

Depression is a disease. Leave my hairline out.

All the artists you named are better than Chinx Drugs, bro.

2012 was the best recent year in rap.

28 grams is wack.

The Drive in Theatre > New Jet City. Best Tape this year.

I agree its been slow as **** though. I liked Mac Miller - Faces, Isaiah Rashad - Cilvia Demo.

My last great mixtape before Drive in Theatre is Blue Chips 2 and that was November 2013....

I dont think I've downloaded a single mixtape this year. 2014 has been a bad music year.

This guy knows what hes talking about and idk whether to consider Cilvia Demo a mixtape or album. I called it an album since it wasnt able to be downloaded for free...

Cilvia Demo is def an album/EP, not a mixtape.

And whoever said Drive in Theatre > New Jet City is smoking some super loud and I'd like to know who your connect is.

I liked Young Jefe from Glizzy, but it's sad that that's all I am remembering right now. I didn't even know Curren$y was still rapping. He lost me after Pilot Talk 2 and I just never cared for anything he did after that.

THAT'S CLEARLY WHAT I SAID IN MY FIRST POST.

I mean like you never listened to him in the first place if you think he raps about blunts or swag.

You heard PT2 and nowhere in that album is that the subject matter.

You have a pre-conceived notion of him w/o ever really listening to him, or even that album. So why even speak? Why even offer an opinion if it's an uninformed one?

90% of his subject matter is about life, cars, women, ******* yo *****, with maybe 5-10% being weed references. And he doesn't even smoke blunts, dude is a joint smoker bruh. If you ever spent any amount of time listening to his discography you know he turns blunts down.

And he's never been a "swag" rapper. This isn't Lil B or ASAP Rocky son. Dude has a lot of real subject matter dude. He's a down to earth dude, he doesn't talk about moving weight like these fairytale lives most of these rappers (Shy Grizzly) talk about but have never done on any wide-scale level.

But hey to each their own, just don't talk about matters you know nothing about.

Okay, cool... sorry I don't care about rhymes that contain nothing but swag and blunts, bruh'.
