His show is overrated imo. I still do like his standups though.

I hope he's back in top form, Killing Them Softly was incredible and he's probably brought me more laughs than any other comedian.
A couple weeks back I was off sick and popped in the second season for the first time in years, I only got through three episodes then called it quits. Maybe it's because I watched it so much and know all the jokes or I've changed in the past 10 years, but it really wasn't THAT funny. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt though, Chappelle's Show is still a classic to me.

Chapplle's skit and standup are two things i can confidently quote, im that annoying guy who mouths and repeats everything

That's exactly why he quit. It wasn't because his jokes were tired. He was forced to rehashing those same tired jokes when he wanted to expand. His standups are awesome though. Some of jokes are similar but his structure is always the same. He is excellent at segueing and there's always a tie in to finish portions of his set.

Dave is a fellow virgo, same day to be exact(August 24) before I knew we shared a birthday I lol'd at him and his work in Robin hood,nutty professor,half baked, and then killing me softly, and chappelles show. I went to his show last year here in atl, it wasn't on softly level but was still entertaining and funny. People love to judge criticize and make polls and lists and crap. Lmao what does any of that mean? Your personal or someone elses list of greats? Nathan at all. Enjoy what u enjoy, but to question what other people like and then have rebuttals ready is petty and self righteous and hilarious. What I eat dont make u poop
