child support case vol: let's see simps try and defend this

"Under a new Texas law, family court judges have the discretion to jail delinquent child-support payers, even if they have paid in full by the time of the hearing."

System is a joke bruh. Now dude is about to head to the bing & lose his job, get a strike on his record & then what happens when he gets out? Sick bruh just sick.

Not seeing what's there to defend if it's a clerical error putting him in jail. Don't really got much to do with cs and more with getting screwed by bureaucracy.

his employer acknowledged a clerical error that prevented his payments from being sent to the child's mother.

Evidence of the clerical error was presented during the appeal process but not at the hearing in which Hall was found in contempt of court for late payments.

:smh: So the employer was docking his pay, and never transferred the funds to the State?

Employers fault however he didn't even present this clerical error during the hearing? He could probably have presented evidence such as paychecks showing the amounts deducted that proved he wasn't at fault. Sounds like a fail all around.

Queens > Texas

Unless your a middle aged upper middle class or higher conservative white male. If that's you, Texas is probably poppin

This is disgusting but par for the course when it comes to this country's justice system.

CLIFFS:

dude paid all his child support +$1k
Still going to jail because a clerical error.

...

That's pretty much it.

Per your thread title, who in their right mind would honestly defend the judge's decision to jail this man?

The facts are clear as day: he is going to jail because of a clerical error not because he did anything wrong. No one will celebrate and/or defend this.

Your baiting is in vain...
