Tyrant new show from FX Tuesdays 10pm

They averaged like 1.5 million for the season, I think they'll get renewed. Haven't really heard anything about anything new for the next summer next year and FX always keeps that time slot with (what they think) is their best show.
 
I don't believe so. I think it was just 3 guys; the other General Bassam spoke to, the guy who took over for Tariq briefly and Nusrat's father.

Oh yeah, bald advisor dude is still alive so he may be the one to save Bassam. If his reporter friend hears the news things may get more interesting.

You're right.

Might be the new head of security for the palace that called Bassam "Mr. President" at the beginning.

Edit - maybe not:

What will happen to Bassam? Will there be a second season? And most importantly, what happened to Aziz and Yussef? We didn’t see them get killed, but were they? Perhaps we’ll all meet up in Abbudin again soon.

I dont see this show lasting long, I mean the whole show was based on the love of the brothers and their twisted relationship.

How in the world are they going to have any type of relationship now that he was exposed, we all know he isnt going to die.

I realize now how weak this show was, I waited for the climax and it never came not even on the finale

Disappointed

They lost me 15 minutes in when they said they weren't supporting the coup.

At that point, it was Fast Forward Season on any scene involving Bassam's wife & family.

Yeah that **** took the wind from under the sails.

I was hoping Bassam would be organized in going through with the coup without them before he blackmailed America to help.
 
FX’s ‘Tyrant’ Down In Freshman Finale

No word yet if the Howard Gordon produced political family drama is coming back for a second season or not, but FX are looking at some mixed results when it comes to how Tyrant’s first run ended. With 1.51 million total viewers the 1-hour 13-minute 10 PM finale was up 4% over its August 19 show. While that is essentially steady, it comes after the show hit a low of 1.34 million total viewers on August 5. Since then, Tyrant’s 10-episode first cycle has been gaining some traction over each of its last three weeks.

However, in terms of adults 18-49, the news was not so good for Tyrant’s finale. The season ender pulled in a 0.5 rating among the key demo last night. That’s a 17% drop from last week’s result among the 18-49s. Last night’s finale was also a 17% drop among the demo from the show’s almost 90-minute premiere on June 24. Overall, last night’s viewership was a hard 28% drop from the 2.1 million who watched debut. The show’s saving grace has been in its DVR friendliness. In Live + 3 ratings, Tyrant’s debut went up to 3.1 million total viewers. In terms of the adult 18-49 demo, the premiere of the Middle East-based show went from 775,000 viewers to 1.2 million in Live + 3 data.

I'd like to see a S2 but I can understand the show not being renewed.

As long as Moran Atias finds her way on another good/great long lasting show I'm good :evil: :pimp:

Man I though this show was decent, really hated Berrys wife though.

Hope it gets renewed because I want to know what happens. Hate that damn cliffhanger ending :smh:

The women on the show are top notch :pimp:
 
Show has done a good job of making me hate jamal from like his very first scene. Him raping that woman multiple times over a long period of time while he made her husband wait outaide of the room was so awful. Then having him executed after she tried to kill him. I just want to see him in front of a firing squad or blastes by the cannon of a tank.
 
Forgot about this show and the strain (don't have cable so I rarely see commercials)

Should be a good summer.
