They should retro the jerseys again. Wonder if anyone remembers....

Reebok had the jersey contract in 2004. Not sure why they let JB/Nike make retros back then, but I don't see Adidas laying down so easy

Actually, if I remember correctly, Nike still had a contract until the end of June 2004 with "certain" teams. Those Nike Retro Jordan jerseys released in 2003, dubbed the "84/03" collection.

Lakers wore the Nike Blue "Los Angeles" script jersey in late 2003, early 2004. The release came coincidentally with the FrenchBlue 12's release that January.

I remember it like yesterday, they came out July 24th indeed, that was the day before my birthday going into my senior year of HS. If I remember correctly they released the pinstripe & road rookie jerseys everywhere, White rookie jersey was only at Footlocker/Eastbay & the 45 home/road was only at Finishline because it took me forever to track it down. I didn't have enough for Authentics & couldn't pick just one so I bought 3 swingmans: white rookie, red 45 & black pinstripe. I still have them but unfortunately those were my fat days so they're all XXL & I wear a Small/Medium jersey now...:roll eyes bittersweet.

Nike can't re-release the jerseys though, they did that as their way of doing one last thing before losing the NBA jersey contract, that was their move before Reebok/Adidas took over the contract that next month. If only I wasn't a broke HS student back then & could've bought the authentics...& only if I wasn't so fat back then & could still wear them now lol.

I had the white rookie Jordan jersey, still have it actually.
And I bought it like 3 sizes big, so it fits now :lol:
 
I remember wanting the Away rookie jersey so bad but I was a broke boi :smh:

I wanted the black mid 90s away with stripes jersey.

But, surprisingly they sold out in my area.

I agree on the retroing these classic jerseys by Nike. They should do a Mitchell-Ness retro line of the Championship teams '80's up through

2010 maybe or early 2000's or just '80's and '90's. They need to do the retro line of the Nike swingman shorts or a Nike retro line of the nba game shorts.

I need Bulls Home, away red, both Away Bulls Black pinstripe from '96 and all Black away from '97.
 
Wow has it been 10 years already?? I bought the away authentic rookie jersey on sale for $90 back in 2005
 
M&N is fairly consistent with their releases of Jordan Jersey's...They don't seem to have any real set pattern for their releases but they still have fairly frequent releases...

I don't get down with the Jersey thing anymore but I don't think I'd be able to pass up a Nike branded Black Pinstripe MJ Authentic though...

Bring back those alternate away all blk BULLS jerseys (no pinstripes) from the late 90s :smokin

Can't believe it's been that long. I picked up the authentic pinstripe at my local Finishline. Peeps on here said get to your fnl and ask. I got there just as they were unboxing them. They was all like how the heck you know about these lol
 
They need to do this as 90% of the people wearing jordan jerseys are fake as you can't actually buy a legit one

the only ones that pop up are $299 mitchell and ness ones.

i need the white,red and black.(framed my red one with sig card)

one of the best ones i ever got was the dream team one. beautiful jersey...

But 10 years ago this month, Nike officially retrod all versions of Michael Jordan Chicago bulls jersey.

From cursive rookie to the mid-90s black stripes.

This was a big deal back then.

Surprised Nike hasn't even thought of bringin em back again. Because I would buy in a heartbeat.

Awesome retro style jersey with the modern material crafting and the JORDAN lettering from 1993 on.

Once I had the chance in Taiwan to buy the 2003 ASG Jordan jersey but instead I purchased the Cavs Lebron James jersey.......big mistake :frown:
 
Nike was real specific about the name on the back, if I remember correctly. Jordan's name on the back was embroidered in white before 93. After that it was stitched and written in black (93-98). When Nike retrod them, they put those details into effect.

I don't know if Mitchell & Ness is aware of these intricate details.

This is why I want Nike to bring me back.
