No luck. Don't know what the percentages are. 2014 open registration I could only get Thursday or Sunday; I passed. Last year, I had the opportunity to get all 4 days; only got Friday. We'll see this year.

Congrats! Picked up a Thursday ticket for my wife and her friend. Last time my wife went she didn't like it, but I think that was mostly due to other issues (we stayed with family the night before and it was not the best, and she left her phone at home). This time we'll have a hotel and her friend will be there with her husband so it should be smoother.

What tips do you vets have for us no0bs? Expect to waste a day waiting in line at Hall H?

If you want to get into those panels, then yup. Your whole day will be spent waiting in line.

From what I've heard, it's not really worth it. You're in a cramped room and most likely won't be able to see much.

The bigger panels arent worth it since you have to wait in long for so long. Id try to catch some of the smaller ones. Dont both with the replay panels.

For the big panels, I believe you line up the day before and sleep through the night, right? Yeah, no thanks.

Yup lots of people do. More room to walk elsewhere and get merch

i attended The Walking Dead panel in 2014. waited about 3 hours in the morning to get wristbands and maybe another 2-3 hours to get a seat. IMO it was worth it.

i struck out last year for NYCC and had two people also helping me get and we all struck out. hoping i can attend this year..
