That was a close one. I hope this isn't what life without Dirk looks like in the future.

Big game tonight @ Chicago. Let's  hope Dirk rains fire after getting a night off. Parsons looked more comfortable and better too over the past few games.

After going for that layup with 4 seconds left, Monta sure made it up for it. He responded every time we needed a score. Monta Have It All indeed.

But Dirk with a back tightness and still getting a near triple double with 22-8-10? Goodness!

Best game of the season. Team really brought it together for this one. Parsons should keep up this level of play... Devin Harris was mad from 3.

Glad we took on their whole starting 5... good test for this team.

Tonight ain't a gimme but I'd like to give dirk some rest

I'd like to limit Dirk's minutes tonight too, but I don't think this Bucks team can be taken lightly. Let's hope for a quick start that leads to a blowout win.

Someone should post that git of Monta after he got called for the foul on mayo... was priceless

Parsons had the best game as a Maverick yet last night against the Bucks. Hopefully he can do this more consistently. But hell, everyone's been scoring their butts off lately.

I agree with you guys that Aminu should get some more minutes in the rotation.

Hopefully this is the beginning of something special. Dirk's clock is slowly ticking.

Parsons trending upward. He's looking a lot more comfortable in our flow offense now.

How about Monta though? #TOOMUCHMONTA

Ever since chilling with his OVO buddies in Toronto he found his game lol

Monta leads the league in clutch points...Lebron aint even close at 2nd.... gotta be an all star.

That loss against Memphis hurt though... we need a backup brolic big guy badly

I'd agree with that. Greg Smith just can't crack the rotation. He's got the type of body we need. Maybe Emeka Okafor when he's fully healthy?

There's just too much reliance on Tyson at this point. That Memphis frontline of Gasol and Randolph hurts. Tyson can only guard one, so the other ends up scoring on us. I still think we can beat them though. Dirk and Monta just had really off nights.

Yup... this is why I would love to play Portland in the first round (very early but still). Jermaine o'neal perhaps? Has ties with carlisle

I was also at that Toronto game. That crowd is crazy. Every defensive possession, the entire crowd chants "DEFENSE!" I wish the AAC has that type of electricity.

Felt great to win in enemy territory though. I went with my cousin and his friends and was being a pretty obnoxious Mavs fan. At one point, the guy in the row ahead of us had had enough, turned and screamed "WHO BROUGHT THIS GUY?!"

Haha nice... I'm the same way up here at the portland / dallas games.

AAC crowd is so weak lol everyone I see them on TV people in the front rows are glued to their phones smh

Did you go to the game last December when Monta hit that game-winner?

And yes, the AAC crowd is a bit on the weaker side. The PA announcer always tries to get the crowd into it. Upper deck is great, but it takes a little push to the lower level peeps going.

Yup went to that one. Thank god I didn't go to blowout month ago... got my tickets for the one in march too.

The AAC is a soft crowd until playoff time.

Its weird too because the lower level tickets ain't that expensive. So the real fans should be able to afford them.

B. Wright is out in the offseason either way.

So the question is does this trade make us more likely to win a championship this year and I say yes.

I think we can pull a backup center off the scrap heap push comes to shove.

Hell Haywood is obtainable

Losing BWright hurts. We'd have to hope that one of the rehabbing bigs signs with us - J O'neal or Okafor.

But geez, we do have the worst starting PG in the West. We could use the upgrade in perimeter D and playmaking. Even though Rondo is a terrible shooter, his playmaking and ability to drive to the bucket is still an upgrade over Jameer. We're one of the top offenses DESPITE Nelson.

If you can get Rondo for Branden Wright and scraps, it's a no-brainer...

Carlisle will make that **** work.
