I really hope he signs with us, but he's a fool for wanting to leave the Clippers with the players they're planning to add.
 
Damn with no vaseline... dude straight up has no integrity, I mean he could have told us Sat, Sun, or Monday that he wasn't coming bc there are reports that he changed his mind days ago.

We could have went after other guys but they're all committed to other teams, no core, no picks, no talent on the team, lookin like the 90's squads now fellas, sorry Dirk but it's time to start from scratch.
 
My Top 3 Worse DFW Sports Moments:

3. This Deandre Jordan Debacle- Waited until the very last day to let the Mavs know that he actually enjoy carrying Blakes and CP3's ball sac on his tonsils ...single handedly fu*kin the franchise up for next few years.

2. 2006 NBA Finals- Shaq and Zo were amazing in the Finals that year in addition to D.Wade re-inventing the flop and shooting a NBA Finals record in free throw attempts. (Harden later re-re-invented the flop)

1. 2011 World Series- The TX Rangers were literally 1 freakin out away from winning the pennant but Nellie Cruz 3rd out dropped fly ball, followed by a David Freese HR in extra ininnings ....I actually started celebrating in this one. :smh:

Sorry it had to be y'all. Sorry Dirk has to endure this, he is a good dude, and he deserves better. People are saying that they should tank, but tank for who? I don't see the draft class being as strong as this past draft class, but hey anything is possible. Good luck y'all.
 
It ain't karma... we didn't do anything to deserve this ****... this roster isn't even bad enough to be bottom 7... going to be a weird season. Got me depressed all today/yesterday.

There's literally no roster beyond Dirk, Parsons, Wes, Barea and filler. :lol:

But Dirk and Carlise may be too good to land in the top 7 of the draft.

The roster will get filled. Cuban is a businessman and knows he has to fill seats somehow. Even with ancillary players I don't know think we'll be that bad.

Prolly **** around and get the 8th pick or something and have it still go the celts the way our luck's been going

Yep, and he only cried bc he thought CP3 was comin to Dallas first but then reports surfaceed about him wanting ro go to the Lakers so Cuban help stop that transaction ...Cuban broke up the championship squad bc he thought he was gettin Dwight and CP3 that offseason but they both chose the Lakers instead. I dunno I also prolly would have swung for the fence to get both players as well, even at the expense of the chip squad.

Let's not kid ourselves, we were not repeating as champs, think about the hot streak that Peja had, think about how unstoppable Dirk was in the playoffs that year, think about how JJ torched the Lakers, and also think about JET played those Finals ...this was not happening a second time, and no way we would have beat Miami again.

You didn't have to bring back the entire team but you could have kept the principles and added to them

That team still could have got out the West with a few moves but Cuban didn't even try.

We've discard dude who have helped us tremendously lately

I'm not on the hate cuban boat like alot of people but he should have just re signed chandler and aminu and called it a day this offseason
 
This team is only relevant because of Cuban

The Mavs literally may not have even stayed in Dallas without Cuban

Keeping Dirk as a franchise player was off the wall thinking that he was with

But he's screwed us and Dirk since 2011

Yeah his offseason philosophy has been off since 2011, the fans and team just masked it with these 7 and 8 seed seasons with good random flashes of brilliance.

Looks like this season is when that stops and accountability rolls in
 
The worst thing for me about this whole thing is how Dirk will retire without even a chance to compete for a championship. 

My worst fear is a nuclear winter after this debacle (all hypothetical). We lose but not bad enough and lose our draft pick to Boston. Dirk opts to retire early. Carlisle doesn't re-up after his contract expires this season. Parsons opts out after this season. 

In other news, let's hope Lil B can work his magic on DJ and the Clippers.

We have no shot to make the playoffs.. We are going to be awful.

I think we've seen dirks final playoff game tho :frown:

There are talks that mavs might absorb joe johnsons deal
