I hope Beverley gets an offer sheet from someone (other than us) quickly. I want HOU to have their cap space tied up, so they can't make any runs at big FAs.

Sign and trade Rondo for something with a pulse, trade Felton, panic and overpay Beverley, hook up JJ Barea, sign some scrub "who’s worked on his game and body for the last year and is ready to come in and contribute," (looking at you Doron Lamb / Jordan Crawford / Orlando Johnson ). Sign JET out of nostalgia? And voila our backcourt is Beverley, Harris. But don’t worry guys we managed to keep Tyson and Aminu for a combined 22 million a year!"
 
I don't want Beverly at all ...also want no part of the same Parsons, Dirk, Chandler front court.

Dirk has too many defense lapses, and TC is no longer good enough to cover them all up ....a great weak side defender like Draymond Green is the type of PF the Mavs now need.
 
Like the Anderson pick... able bodied and good on D, just need to sure up his shot.

The Singh pick was a business move.... think of all the Indian fans that will now be watching the Legends Youtube broadcasts... they will easily be the most popular D League team by numbers.

Summer league should be interesting... Anderson, Delonte, Oden, Singh, the dude who got punched by Pacquiao, Griffin, Powell...

Anderson looks solid. Read that he has a high motor and a strong work ethic. He can really become a prototypical 3-D player. Not sure if he'll actually start, but I'm happy that we finally picked a solid player. No more Mo Agers, Jared Cunninghams, Shane Larkins, and the like.

I don't think anyone is good enough to cover up Dirk's defensive lapses. His lateral quickness is gone, unfortunately. Still a solid starter in this league due to the gravity effect he has on opposing defenses. 

Getting strong perimeter defenders in the backcourt should alleviate some pressure off Tyson and improve our overall defense. I'd like to see Parsons bring back some of the same defensive intensity that earned him a starting role in Houston. 
 
Honestly, I'd rather sign Deandre Jordan than LMA anyways...

Get younger. Signing LMA and Tyson doesn't do much for me honestly.
 
I really think DJ is coming to Dallas... he'll be worshipped here where in LA he will always be in the shadows of CP3 and Blake.

Sign and trade Jamal + DJ for Felton + Chandler
 
Chandler gone to the Suns, maybe for a sign and trade for Wright. Some of these contracts are absolutely ridiculous, with this new cap it looks like scrubs bench players are getting almost $10M/year :smh:

I think the Mavs only like 5 players under contract including Raymond freakin Felton.

If DJ don't sign then we are lookin like a 18th seed in 8 seed playoff tree.

Can't believe the Spurs are possibly getting Aldridge, resign Green for $45M and gave Leonard a max deal and only lose Splitter.

i have a feeling that we are gonna be left out in the cold in free agency DJ is our last hope and i think he just tryna mess with the clippers but know along hes never leaving LA smh.... man i thought Tyson was waiting on Mavs but i know its a business theres no way LMA is coming to Mavs he just wants to be wined and dined he knew from start it was always Blazers and Spurs all these fake reports about him wanting to come home to Dallas is BS we might luck out on Wes Matthews but we need either LMA or DJ everything else is a fail....and it doesnt make sense to tank cause Celtics pretty much own our pick if it falls past 7th man this is tough time to be a Mavs fan plus Dirk is 37....37 we are done if we dont get it done....
 
Last time I was this disappointed in an offseason we won a championship

Why would he chill with Parsons for 5 days in a row and follow Wes Matthews on Twitter then?

He can be the focal point here that's the selling point.

But would DJ being the focal point be a good thing for Mavs :lol:

No offense to DJ but if he's the best player/focal point of a team, I don't think that team is contending for much

If you're talking about Monta, that was a forgone conclusion he wasn't coming back so not really that shocking as far as him leaving.

No one has faith that DJ will choose the Mavs, as most think he is simply using the Mavs as leverage with the Clips.

Also the fact that most plan B options already chose to sign elsewhere, so naturally everyone has the sky is falling mentality until they actually lock up a decent player who can be added to the core with Chandler Parsons.
