The rapper Bobby Shmurda  was arrested today after a long-term investigation by the NYPD related to his possible involvement in shootings and narcotics trafficking. This is Shmurda's third brush with the law in recent months, following charges for possessing a gun and marijuana.

Kati Cornell, the director of public information for New York City's special narcotics prosecutor, confirmed that the rapper was arrested in his car in the early hours of morning. According to official sources, he was arrested along with several members of GS9, the Brooklyn gang that also lends its name to Shmurda's rap crew.

Bobby Shmurda Shmoney Dances To No. 1 with 'Hot Boy'

The charges against Shmurda will not be revealed until tomorrow, when the sealed indictment will be opened in Manhattan Supreme Court. According to Cornell, the NYPD plans to hold a press conference tomorrow afternoon to discuss the case.

I agree his fame was up but I really wanted to see the boy shine. But this right here..... damnnn son. Like stated above. He better had saved some of that performance money. Its about to get UGLY.
 
Yep they got Rebel, they even arrested Sha Money XL

They pulled up on em at Quad Studios apparently they had hella burners too :smh:

Hope Shmurda got some bread. NY gun laws....
 
It's a sad day in NY today man...
I wish these guys the best, Forreal forreal. Hope they make it through (unless they did some wild **** like killed an innocent person or something)
