My Wifi is Garbage, and my Data is suffering...

Called TWC up, they had me reset the modem, it's up and running now.
Although this is like time #3 I've done this, and I kinda want a fully functional one.
Thanks for the help guys

What kind of modem do you have? I have crappy TWC too and they set me up with the Motorola Surfboard Docsis 3.0 modem/router in one.

THAT THING IS TRASH.

I repeat

THAT THING IS TRASH.

I finally got fedup and went out and bought a Netgear Nighthawk AC1900. TANK MODE. My wifi signal is constant and strong throughout. Best $160 I spent all year.

If you've had your modem for a long time, it's possible that may be the issue. If it's not a Docsis 3.0 modem, the updated speeds may not be getting through to you. I just buy my own modem since the price to rent is only about 13 months before you come out ahead. If you've only had the router for 3-4 years, make sure it's a wireless-N router. This will ensure you're getting the best speeds available (unless you want to upgrade to AC for a lot more now). I'm betting it's a combination of those two since you've got so much connected to the router. Both routers and modems tend to crap out after a couple years since technology changes so much.

I have a motorola SB6180 and it works fine. :\

Once you buy the Internet plan, that's all the customer service you get, unless you call...
They should atleast do a follow up every year to prevent this or something

Thought this said "My wife is garbage" and I started dying,

The router makes all the difference. I got a Netgear N600 and it fixed all my problems. Super easy set up, prioritizes streaming over browsing traffic, and overall solid range in my crib.
