What price should I be looking at for a 55-60 (maybe 65 inch) LED tv thats 120hz? I see wal mart has some decent priced and Best buy has an insignia 55 inch for 529. Any other retail spots you guys reccomened? I would prefer to be able to pick up or at least ship to store, don't want a TV sitting on my door step.

I just bought a 55" LED (120hz) Samsung Smart TV for a shade over $1100.

*From Best Buy...ordered online and picked up in store.

Don't get an insignia. You can get a better brand for around 600-650. You can wait a little bit till the mainstream manufacturers throw android inside of it. The smart TV is for vizio for example is ok but android would be much better. The biggest factor is how long you can wait because prices will always go down. If you check bestbuys website you can check what the open box deals are. I'm on mobile right now but if you google it you should be able to search a store by store inventory for open box and you'll save at least 10%

Lurk on slickdeals.net. Pounce on a deal that pops up.

Super Bowl, July 4th and the Holiday's are the best times to scoop tv's on deep discounts/promo's.

yea I was assuming there might be some good July 4 deals.

And I don't care about Smart TV features, this will have a PS4 and a Chrome Cast plugged into it and a HD TV antenna (don't plan on having cable)

since you don't watch TV and clearly don't really care about brands or specs just get w/e you can in your price range

What happened to that other thread where you were asking about that one tv?

No surprise this dude is now asking for advice on TVs after that disaster of a last TV thread he started

 I know, right? Why even make a thread gauging opinions if dude doesn't even care to begin with?

I made this thread asking where to look didn't really ask for an exact model. Last thread I made was just posting a deal on a 50 inch which is smaller than what I wanted and I posted that as info for ppl that wanted a cheap tv didn't ask about buying it
