I just wish that Jay would have had Ski on the beats because Ski is a professional with that 70s sound. He did it with Camp Lo and they are on that 70s vibe most of the time. Camp Los first album is in rotation right now, that is my american gangster theme music until this Jay comes out then i guess both will be in rotation. Let me go and watch the movie again.

the album definitely has a different feel to it, and def better than kc but its not seeing the black album. usually there are some lines or verses with jay that i have to rewind because it's like what the @#%$ did he just say, so from that perspective i'm kind of disappointed. but aside from that i agree with y'all that said the second half of the album was better (say hello, fallin, success are all :wow:

^That's true but I haven't been too impressed with Ski's recent work, and I'm a huge Camp Lo fan. He hasn't recaptured that sound from USN.

I think its funny how kanye takes his older songs (Homecoming, Dear Mama) and makes them worse, Jay-z basically used the same ignorant @#%$, added to it a bit, and its SO DAMN DOPE. I can't stop playing it.

This CD was such a pleasant surprise, heard about it like a month ago and didn't even know if i thought it was true, but damn....

I really really really don't like to listen to you dudes. I have no idea what you expect from albums, or why you hold the albums you do in such high regard, but imo, it's production value and maturity puts it over Reasonable Doubt, and the general feel and the fact that every song on the CD gives you the feel of the progression of a dude in both games instead of just a group of the hottest songs I've ever heard, that is why I put it above Blueprint. It's like a Jay song Vs. a Cassidy(Don't take this out of context and try and see what I'm saying) Blue Print is a group of the best single punchlines(as in the songs don't really connect and could stand alone), while American Gangsta is like Song Cry, it has a certain feel to it as to why he does what he did and how I live off of it.
My last sig was kind of cheesy....like this one is any less ...

This album is not better than graduation, but there some stellar tracks, for sure.
