AD and Boogie are more equipped to handle the Gasols than AD and Drummond IMO.

I was listening to Simmons or Jalen, and they were saying how this is pretty much gonna be the most Duke-ish USA squad ever.
I can kind of see it from Team USA's perspective that all they want their bigs to do is defend, rebound, screen and finish plays, but still.
With the vast amount of shooters/perimeter guys, and run and gun, stretch bigs
Makes a little sense, especially since Duke never has a stud true bang it out down low, type of big man.

More than anything, foreign squads use intentional fouls to stop US fast breaks. They rack up a lot of fouls between the three-point lines.

The good news is Spain is in a much tougher bracket. The only team I can see putting a scare into Team USA before the final is Lithuania. Here's Team USA's pool (C):
Dominican Republic
Turkey
United States
Finland
New Zealand
Ukraine
They play Group D teams in the knockout stages:
Lithuania
Angola
South Korea
Slovenia
Mexico
Australia
Spain's pool (A):
Spain
Serbia
France
Brazil
Egypt
Iran
They could easily lose a game or two in pool play (Serbia, Brazil). Then potential opponents for the knockout:
Philippines
Senegal
Puerto Rico
Argentina
Greece
Croatia
Those last three teams aren't easy outs. I know they're playing at home, but still. Serbia was some crappy officiating away from the final in 2010. Argentina may have one last run in them, playing on pride, and Croatia is no slouch.

Just sucks that it seems like USAB is going out of their way to send a token invite to DMC, only to really give him ZERO shot at cracking the roster. It's a damn shame if that's the case. Especially to do it to a player who has continually shown enthusiasm and dedication to the program
I personally do not like Voisin at all..... But she's kind of the Sacramento version of Brian Windhorst so take it however you want
