OFFICIAL FIBA World Cup Spain 2014 Thread

In 08 or 12 I would have been really concerned but at this point the USA should still win it all. To say Spain would beat the bricks off might look silly in the future

We'll see tonight against Brazil how we look, then we'll have a more clear vision

He will get burn in the coming exhibition games.

Colangelo spoke to the team before the game and told them not everyone was going to play; probably so Coach K wouldn't have to worry about getting everyone in the game, and that they would all have a chance during the warm up tour leading up to the World Cup.

Team USA may also bring 13 guys total to Spain and wait till the deadline to cut that final player............. This makes me nervous because it leads me to believe that it is possible the Cousins' (or heavens forbid, Davis) injury is more severe than they are leading on....

Curry and Harden each hit 1, Klay hit 2.

the team shot 4-17 overall from deep..... hopefully they adjust to the 3 pt line by the time the games matter...

Yeah don't think USA could win without hitting the 3 consistently

Between Curry, Harden, Klay, maybe Korver, maybe Parsons I'm not really worried about the three ball. I'm worried about health and frontcourt depth. They're an Anthony Davis injury away from being kinda ****** down low

I think it's safe to say shooting won't be a problem. The only non-shooters on the team are (arguably) Rose, Faried, and the centers. Everyone else is money. It's just a matter of getting comfortable in the offense and the team moving the ball properly. Also getting used to the international ball which is different than the NBA one.

Also :x :x @ how Ant took over the game
