Anyone been sky diving or something similar?

I'm trying to set something up towards the end of the month and just trying to get an idea of what to expect.

Have a few friends who have done it and loved it.

Not about that bungee life but I'll gladly jump?

There was a story about this girl who went zip lining and the cord snapped and she ended up with this rare disease. (In Georgia) so I've kinda chilled on that idea.

been white water rafting before...very fun, did it at harpers ferry WV, altho nothing higher than class 3 rapids doe

Been sky diving and white water rafting.

I know I'm the minority on this but I found sky diving to be incredibly over rated.
It's cool and all but all this talk about how liberating, calm, whatever else you want to say is a lot of BS.

It's a rush that lasts less than a minute.
Don't even get that feeling in your stomach that roller coasters give you.

White water rafting was def fun though.
Would recommend.

I went white water rafting last summer in the Poconos, it's fun but a very hard challenge. This summer a group of friends went to Lake George and did a ziplining / extreme obstacle course. It was $50 and took 6.5 hrs. It was intense.

my gf just went sky diving last month said it was amazing

I'd like to go Skydiving 1 day.

How the **** you fall from zip lining and end up with a disease? I didn't know paralyzed was a virus.

I've never done anything fun in life....smh

That's because you're freefalling.

You're not going to get increased G-force from gravity alone.

Them teddies. :pimp:

I want to do it.

People always talk of how dangerous it is....

But I'm more scared of being scared of trying things.

I would skydive now off of the strength of this knowledge alone.

I ******* hate that feeling.

How is harpers ferry in West Virginia rated on the zip line course?

Been skydiving before. Only cool part was that I dropped out the plane backwards. Other than that it was okay.

Been parasailing, zip lining, and white water rafting. Up next would be bungee jumping and skydiving but I don't know if I'm bout that life.

So what I'm taking from this thread is that people only skydive to say they did it, and not for the actual experience.

loved it when i went... that first step had me like "f that... i wanna sit back down"
only problem was it was a boring scenery :\
