Holiday Weekend Death Toll Climbs to 15 in Chicago
CHICAGO — Jul 8, 2014, 10:11 AM ET


Chicago's Fourth of July weekend death toll has climbed to 15 with the death of a man who was shot just before midnight Sunday.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office says 25-year-old William Allen was pronounced dead shortly before 2:30 p.m. on Monday afternoon. Police say Allen was shot Sunday night.

Allen was one of more than 50 people shot over the long holiday weekend. The killings continued Monday with the slayings of three people — the first two early Monday and the third on Monday night on Chicago's South Side.

The Chicago Sun-Times reports that the latest victim was a 19-year-old woman who was shot in the back by a gunman who rode up on a bicycle and opened fire.

I'm always hearing y'all blame this on the mafias portrayal of our black youth. Or saying "it really ain't that bad", "it's only in one side of town."

Chicago big, but not that big. If all this is really just a small section of your city, then I find that the most disturbing part of it all.

the chicago tribune said 41 shot and 14 dead, and various other numbers all ranging from 9 to 16 murders from other sources. I believe they have a propoganda agenda.

The youth don't give the slightest dambs
Parents who are still around can't get through to them
Kids taking drugs and their mind's haven't developed
If the youth have no job to go to, no school to learn in, what you think they're going to do with their time
there's no love
It's just all bad.

Cops in Chicago are SOMETHING ELSE... Although la and nypd can be just as bad.
 
Add in this popular Chiraq "music" that glorifies murder and beefing with other people. These guys get on a record and pretty much make threats to folks by name. Like how you gonna listen to a mixtape and a dude say he gonna shoot you, your cousin, and your baby mama, and NOT want to get at him?

It's not only Chicago sadly it's happening in places like Fort Pierce,Fl and many other citys across the united states.

There isn't just one problem but many problems combined with a lot of useless outdated solutions that is funded by the government that does nothing but line certain peoples pockets.

If you are a fan of the tv show the wire then you can see how one thing effects the other,trickles down.But the face of the problem,damnear the spokes person for all of the problem will be someone black or latino,poor,uneducated and stuck in the web.
 
Were there any random killings? That report with them talking about some girl leaning into a car and getting shot sounds wild.
 
The Library open damn near everyday. Go read a damn book and get your knowledge up. You ain't gotta become no scientists, but learn to be a productive citizen at least.


But noooooooooo that's to hard for these jokers. The rather nickle and dime themselves to death out there on the streets. Trying to be a rapper and gangbanger and run with the toughest click.

I don't know where y'all live but the influences been there.

I wanna know why places like Chicago, St. Louis, ect have such a centralized area of some of the highest violence we've seen in a while.

What is wrong with Chicago? Do the ppl in charge simply don't care? I don't consider it a place to be behind the times so imo if NYC was able to stop it's 90s huge crime wave, quell the gangs, drug abuse and other violent related crimes, etc. why can't they?

Dudes actually need a Giuliani? I mean damn. I just don't get it.

me and a co-worker spoke about this earlier

and im wondering were is the media uproar 

for these situations where are the memes and picture on social

networking screaming for justice and peace during these situations

it seems that when its black on black crime it quickly swept under

the rug and its not just by the news media its by people in general

gun laws does not exist

compared to say the gun laws in New York
