Y-3 bball mid

Unless something has changed or this is a special one-off for a runway show, then not $600 and certainly not $800.

There were two pairs of the silver/cream snakeskins on ebay this year. One is still there and has been sloooowly dropping price. Started at $200 and now at $100. $100 & a spot on the snakeskin? For now, everybody looking is still passing. The other silver/cream snakeskin sold for $100-$150 (and didn't have any spots).

The price on this model hasn't fluctuated much over the years. I bought a 10.5 all white around 6 or 7 years ago for $50-$100. I bought a 10.5 black/green pair in 2012 or 2013 for $100. I believe most bball pairs over that past 5-7 years have gone for $50-$200. I think the lack of price fluctuation is due to general unfamiliarity with the y-3 line as a whole - and then top it off with this being an older model from the line. y-3 has recently received more mainstream attention/following due to Kanye West & the Qasa.

Given the recent surge of interest in y-3, I'd consider paying for a used pair of y-3 bball mid in my size:
- $150-$200 black/green or all whites
- $100-$150 white/silver/black snakeskins (the ones you posted) or all blacks
- $0-$65 for the silver/cream snakeskins
- $0-50 for the all silvers
- $0 for the gold/blue snakeskins

If you're seriously thinking of buying these, they run small - you'll probably want a .5 or 1.0 size up from regular size, or your toes will be pinched. I think the whites stretched slowly over time as my feet changes a bit... but it was 100% apparent from the first time I put the black/greens on that they were too small. Seriously - my toes start to go numb in the black/greens! - they'll get listed on ebay eventually. :frown:

side note - have you seen the Hayworth mid ii? you might keep your eye out for it. I should have pulled the trigger on these when I had the chance (link shoes the two best colorways):
