Guys, don't make Kobe call for a press conference to announce that his return is the greatest return of all-time.

If there was social media in the 1990's MJ would've had even more exposure. Sometimes I feel like NT is too young to even truly understand what was really going during those times.

yea and no... id agree in terms of the exposure.... but why i kinda disagree is the nature of the ppl etc... in this generation vs prior generations. One could argue if social media etc was around then there wouldve been the real house ohs of whatever city, or a kim k of the 80's eyc...

But the possibility of those things happening did exist just not from a tech standpoint and ppl wasnt over consumed with things like that in that era. True jordan was/is global icon and plenty of ppl loved him. But most folks that werent sport fans wasnt as vested in him and wouldnt go out their ways to follow/concern themselves with every little thing going on in his life, the way ppl of current generations do for ppl now.

My dude do you even realize if it wasn't for MJ we probably wouldn't be even be posting on this forums right now. Every kid at my school had his shoes every drop or wish they had them. Dude changed the game forever. He was on the level of Michael Jackson. Dude had a kids movie. Everyone loved MJ, unlike lebron.

Thats all true.... my point is/was that mj fame was on/off the court and he was beloved respected and talked about for what he is..his accomplishments etc.... LeBron while some of that is true... you legit have ppl talking bout him gossiping etc.... just to seem cool, in the know, just to troll, rustle jimmies etc....

Not saying Lebron isnt known of famous again hes arguably the biggest athlete right now.... but some of that fandom is just folks talking just to be talking... While there isnt way of us ever to know... i seriously doubt mj would have a fanbase or whatever you wanna call it... ppl talking about discussing him just cause to diss him.... or to poke fun make fun of him etc...
