Do we want to see these retroed? If I remember correctly they were worn by eddie jones when they first dropped? Any thoughts on these?

They were rumored to release a few wears ago if I remember correctly but JB just used the name pro quick to release a totally different model

Those came out in the spring of 1998. I remember trying them on but passing because they seemed very flimsy to me. I realized they were supposed to be very light, a guard's shoe, but even making allowances for that I thought I would tear them up very "quickly", LOL. So i got the thick, clod-hopping Pro Strong that year instead.
IIRC, they were actually retro'd some time ago, in the mid-2000s.

you're correct, they did retro but they were a little different from the OG model. The retros didn't have the strip from the tongue all the way to the edge of the toe box like the OGs pictured in OP's post.

thanks for the info. I really never liked these for the same reason. didn't like the jordan strip up the tounge also. So for them to omit that on the retros sounds like good news to me

they aren't as good as a few other team J's but they aren't bad either. I would probably cop for 100 or less. I got some iversons over these back in the day
