If it doesn't get renewed then it will reinforce my distaste for American television with its reality show saturation. This why fringe got budget cuts and then could only last 5 seasons. Show was great. But once people saw it dealt with science...the struggle followed.

Gang related is a great show. Great writing and suspense. It's not ur avg cop show which I swear there are like .....8 that follow the same routine.

At the very least this show should've been on Netflix.
 
If these dudes end on a cliffhanger and get canceled

Have you heard whether the show will be renewed for a second season?

We're in discussions right now. We don't have confirmation if it's going to happen or not, but we're actively talking to them about it, and I'm hoping sometime in the next couple weeks we'll get an answer, either good or bad. It definitely has a shot, which is nice. 

Gang Related's season-one finale airs Thursday, Aug. 14, at 9 p.m. on Fox.

Okay, wow! This show literally gets better every episode and really picked up mid-way through the season.

If fox don't pick this up and actually do some real promo, I pray to the television Gods that FX or some other cable network pick this show up and run with it.

I was hoping this episode to go like this:

- Bryan and crew goes to Mexico
- Acosta's crew goes to Mexico
- Bryan and crew get caught by cartel
- Acosta's crew rescues Bryan and crew
- Cartel killer is murdered
- Everyone goes home and lives happily ever after

That wouldn't have been enough drama though.
 
WOW, what a great Season finale. Hopefully not series finale. This show needs to continue. Hope they move it over to FX or FXX if they have to but make sure it goes on.

I doubt it'll move to another channel thats not how it works most of the time
 
Nah...wasn't feeling it at all.  Some random broad at your job gives you top and suddenly you turn on fam..nah...good episode tho. i was legitimately heated at parts

They had a hit out on him like a few days earlier. Then they killed his girl. Plus they intentionally misled him by getting Daniel to say it was Mathias and used him and his girl as a pawn to take down the Metas. Ryan was getting ready to turn sides too though in between them putting a hit out on him and killing his girl. Both parties flipped simultaneously sorta.

Started watching the show after I saw this thread. I'm hooked. Hope it gets picked up. I didn't think the show would have the balls to kill Jessica. Was expecting her to be in the hospital the next episode.
