NBA LIVE 15: PS$ and XB1 released

I still want to see 5v5 gameplay, but that snippet didn't get me excited to see more of the game. If anything, Live 2016 might be where they actually bring some competition for 2K.

At this point wont be a live 16 they need to get their stuff together

enjoy 2k14 with new graphics lol

I don't get how anyone can be excited for Live with their past history and by looking at that trailer. **** looked horrible. The movements look so damn clunky. Also when the ball is in the air it looks like its floating. Game gonna be straight *** like the past 5.

2k is consistently the goods. Me and millions of others will definitely enjoy it.

lmao, did you not see the 2k gameplay that dropped? same canned movements. same cheese. offense and defense don't set up nearly as good as in Live. I have religiously played 2k since 2k10 and I'm tired of the same ish. When 2k wants to actually put out some new quality stuff. Until you understand 2k is putting out the same old bs you gon be blinded fam
Top Shot Blockers in NBA LIVE 15
Posted October 1st at 5:13pm.

NBA_Ratings_header_SB.jpg

As teams put a bigger emphasis on protecting the paint, the blocked shot is a great way to erase layups and make opponents think twice about attacking the rim.

Here are your best shot swatters in NBA LIVE 15.

nba-live-ratings-shotblockers-ibaka.jpg

SERGE IBAKA
OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER
96 BLOCK

They call him Iblocka, and for good reason. Ibaka blocked a league-high 219 shots last year, and completely transforms the Thunder when he's on the floor. Can he get an NBA title to go with those blocks titles?

nba-live-ratings-shotblockers-davis.jpg

ANTHONY DAVIS
NEW ORLEANS PELICANS
95 BLOCK

In just his second season, Davis led the NBA with 2.82 BPG. Davis is the future of paint protection with his agility and length.

nba-live-ratings-shotblockers-sanders.jpg

LARRY SANDERS
MILWAUKEE BUCKS
95 BLOCK

After blocking 2.8 shots a game in 2012-13, Sanders struggled through 2013-14 and played just 23 games. He's expected to return the form and patrol the paint for a talented young Bucks team.

nba-live-ratings-shotblockers-jordan.jpg

DEANDRE JORDAN
LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS
95 BLOCK

Doc Rivers empowered Jordan in his first year on the job, and the big man responded. He finished third in the NBA with 2.48 BPG, blocking a career-high 203 shots.

nba-live-ratings-shotblockers-howard.jpg

DWIGHT HOWARD
HOUSTON ROCKETS
90 BLOCK

Howard's numbers may have dropped but he still finished seventh in the league with 1.8 BPG. With his back now healthy, look for a defensive resurgence from the three-time Defensive Player of the Year.

Live should just dead it again and stick to making video game shoes and accessories. Game looks awful. They should just team up with 2k and write the coding for the shoes and arm bands and ****.

The Spacing is def better than 2k, however..the players move so damn awkwardly smh lol.

Curious to try this though. Looks like an improvement

the proportions look fine and the crossovers are smooth...but once you start moving and looking at a game of 5v5 in full... :x

They really screwed themselves dropping weeks after 2K

My desire to play this will wear thin during that time unless 2K is completely trash

I really want to like Live 15, but 2K is turning up on them so much the closer we get to RD. It's hard for me to take them seriously. The only thing they have up on 2k is the shoe models.

Wish new born babies could review both 2k and live. That way there wouldnt be a biased opinion both sides lol

Defense is half the game, and it starts with keeping your man in front of you.

Here are the best on-ball defenders in NBA LIVE 15.

nba-live-ratings-defense-leonard.jpg

KAWHI LEONARD
SAN ANTONIO SPURS
95 DEF

The NBA Finals MVP ranked in the 90th percentile for points per possession, according to Synergy Sports. He's also in the 92nd percentile against defending the Pick and Roll Ball Handler.

nba-live-ratings-defense-allen.jpg

TONY ALLEN
MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES
95 DEF

The "Grindfather" bounced back from injury and came alive guarding MVP Kevin Durant in the playoffs. Allen simply imposes his will as a defender, and ranked in the 94th percentile while defending off screens.

nba-live-ratings-defense-beverley.jpg

PATRICK BEVERLEY
HOUSTON ROCKETS
95 DEF

Beverley brings some much-needed feistiness to the Rockets. Despite having the unenviable task of covering the league's best point guards, he ranks in the 92nd percentile for isolation defense.

nba-live-ratings-defense-iguodala.jpg

ANDRE IGUODALA
GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS
92 DEF

Iguodala has been one of the NBA's best lockdown defenders for years, and finally received his due by being named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team in 2013-14.

nba-live-ratings-defense-james.jpg

LEBRON JAMES
CLEVELAND CAVALIERS
91 DEF

James has made it his goal to be named NBA Defensive Player of the Year this season. The King was the heart of Miami's blitzing defense for the last four seasons, and can guard any position on the floor.

I'm glad NBA Live is giving 2k competition. That's all I want. i will be buying Live this year but if they F it up i'll get 2k when it's half off or my girl gives it to me lmao
Top Scoring Threats in NBA LIVE 15
Posted October 3rd at 3:54pm.

Defense may win championships, but a deadly, efficient offense certainly helps.

Check out the five best scoring threats in NBA LIVE 15.

nba-live-ratings-scorers-durant.jpg

KEVIN DURANT
OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER

Guarded, off the dribble, through contact. It doesn't matter. Durant gets buckets when he chooses, where chooses, and how he chooses. The four-time NBA Scoring Champion and reigning MVP is the highest-rated offensive player when he's guarded.

nba-live-ratings-scorers-anthony.jpg

CARMELO ANTHONY
NEW YORK KNICKS

Despite the Knicks struggles, nobody has ever doubted Carmelo Anthony's ability to score. He can play both forward spots, and scores from the post just as easily as the perimeter. Anthony checks in with an 89 rating from downtown, and also has a guarded shot rating of 95.

nba-live-ratings-scorers-curry.jpg

STEPHEN CURRY
GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS

The NBA's most productive three-point shooter is capable of scoring points in bunches. Curry's the highest-rated player when taking a shot off the drible. When he gets going, it's must-see TV.

nba-live-ratings-scorers-james.jpg

LEBRON JAMES
CLEVELAND CAVALIERS

James' all-around offensive game flourished in South Beach, as he posted some of the most efficient seasons in NBA history. He's the highest-rated player when taking contact during a shot.

nba-live-ratings-scorers-harden.jpg

JAMES HARDEN
HOUSTON ROCKETS

The Beard has a nice stepback jumper that he can hit from all ranges. He ranks second behind teammate Dwight Howard at drawing fouls with a 94 rating.

damn nba live 14 looks absolute horrid

but live 15 looks to be headed in the right direction....long way to go though.....the collision system looks promising....and that D Rose yam at the end was nasty :pimp:
