NBA LIVE 15: PS$ and XB1 released

Yep. Hot Sauce was the cover athlete.

Is it wrong that the only reason I was curious about playing this was because of the ESPN NBA presentation/commentary? & they couldn't even do that right. Still, you want to be optimistic so that if all else, 2K tightens up their games in the face of competition.

Nba live 04 is still the greatest basketball game ever made. Unfortunately, that's the last time EA made a decent basketball game. I tried playing live 05, 06, 07 and it was weak. I also hated 2k6 and 2k7. 2k8 finally made me a believer tho. 2k11 js the 2nd best game ever but they followed up with a weak 2k12 and now 2k14 for PS4 was one of the worst bball games I've ever played. The gameplay itself wasn't too bad (although it is bad) but everything else is absolutely awful. MyCareer takes 40 minutes before you can even play your first game. They can keep the cutscenes for the people that love that bull **** but at least make it skip-able. MyGM was so frustrating. I couldn't even edit rosters so i had to deal with 2k's bum *** default rosters. The inablity to play defense in 2k14 was hilarious. It's crazy to me that 2k9's gameplay was better than a game on a next gen console. I think I'm starting to realize why people get so frustrated with madden (i buy madden every year and ways enjoy it) 2k just stopped caring about putting out an enjoyable, realistic basketball game. They added all these other unnecessary modes and that dumbass VC **** instead. Im praying live's game is just halfway decent so I can buy it and enjoy it on my ps4 while I play2k15 on my pc.

Live is smart to think about dropping the MSRP . Wasn't 2k $10 cheaper than live back in the day?

I think I already expressed these feelings in this thread a few weeks before lol.

Live '03 was so classic :pimp:

Think '04 takes the cake for me by a hair tho.

I can't remember the last time I played a Live game. It was probably Live 2004 with Vince Carter on the cover. I do remember Live 2003 being the best one amongst the entire franchise.

I remember I used to LOVE NBA Live when I had a SNES. Live 96 was my go to game. Live 2000 was also solid with Jordan back. I would pick Allen Iverson and unlock Jordan that way

As for the best 2k game--it would have to be 2k8 or 2k11.

AI, Kobe and TMac were the only way that was happening

I ain't getting excited until I see actual unedited gameplay. But this looks nice.

Live 04. :pimp:

Grizzlies. :pimp:

:pimp:

I use to run NBA Live 04. I was ranked in the top 5 online

If I wasn't in school or out playing ball, I was playing Live online. People use to think I had some special cheat code because I use to light them up with the Grizz.

As for the trailer, it looked nice. What gets me about Live is how the players move. It looks robotic and they always seem to have arched back when dribbling the ball. it just looks weird. I hope the gameplay video looks good, though. I'm a huge fan of basketball, so I enjoy the competition between Live and 2k.

Looks good so far...

A couple of those dunks they just showed have been used in this game for years now, though...

Excited to see how Live handles things this year...

That Grizz team on Live '04 was the truth... J-Will, Mike Dickerson, and young Pau... :pimp: :pimp:
