NBA LIVE 15: PS$ and XB1 released

Why not just flat out say you sucked for the last half decade and have been half assing it and **** on your fans but now you want to completely ask for forgiveness and give you the greatest live ever?

It just seems like the same **** they say every year.
 
Why do the jerseys look like that? Those XL sized numbers.

Miles better than 14, but still way worse than 2K. Looks like I might pass again.

Live is FINISHED.
 
This may finally be the year that the fork is stuck in EA. Crazy how Madden has arguably been the best its has been in a long time, but Live remains the same garbage since the canceled 11. I understand they have different teams, but its clear that the philosophies in the two teams are complete 180s of each other. The outdated graphics engine they use bothers me the most. When they didn't make a game for the time they took off, they should have revamped it. Instead we still have something that looks like a PS2 game.

On the contrary, they should keep trying until they finally get it right. As consumers, their success is in our best interests.

Competition is healthy and would lead to better games from both them and 2K in the future. Something we all should want.

Look at the player models and the animations/lack of physics.

I'd rather EA just give us a current gen version of NBA Live 04 with updated rosters, graphics, commentary, presentation, etc... They should not even bother making basketball games anymore. These preview clips look like crap.

NO you do not want competition cuz ea just gonna give the nba a 300 billion dollar check for exclusivity and it would be a wrap :lol:

can't believe yall are calling for Live '04 and that pro hop cheese.

You could literally just hop through the defense in that game. It was a joke.

This looks pretty much like I expected it to look.

It just doesn't look like a REAL basketball game. As mentioned, the player models look pretty good, but the animations and the way they move still looks stiff. The players don't look like their real life size if you were watching the game on TV. I'm really trying to get Live a chance :lol: . I'm still going to play the demo, though. The 2nd video with Harden looks pretty realistic. The ball handling is something I always thought Live did a good job at, so IMO that's nothing new.

:lol: at "pro hop cheese". I use to hate that **** . I found certain ways to stop it, though.

That's a lie since dreamcast 2K has been hand in hand gameplay wise... Popularity took a while but for as long as i could remember 2k was right on par with live.

2K doesn't listen to the community? Really? 2K HIRES the damn community man. That is so far from the truth it isn't funny. YOu know how active they are oN OS and how many requests they have made happen? Never say they don't listen to the fans.

100% true. LD2k, BedwardsRoy, and Da_Czar were all active OS users who were hired by 2K. They definitely listen to the community. Now they may not be perfect, but they do a damn good job of taking suggestions and implementing them in the game. That's one of the reasons Live has been left in the dust... They don't engage the community nearly as much.
