And who says he supports Palestine? Being against the disgusting policies of the IDF does not mean being for or against one country. I just posted an article by a Jewish woman who supports the state of Israel with this quote in it:

Do you realize that Hamas is not fully capable of organizing a legitimate military because they've been restricted to just fighting with what they have, and not everybody who's trying to fight back against the Israeli terrorism and civilian shelling a are not all Hamas?

There are regular civilians who aren't going to just run away or sit back and get killed, so they fight back with whatever they have in hopes of demoralizing these devilish Israeli military soldiers who've come in, and rounded up families by the 10's and 20's, and annihilate them all at once (120 people, all civilians killed in Rafah this way) - similar to what the Jews went through during the holocaust.

Do you legitimately expect people OTHER than Hamas to just sit around and just die? Most of these civilians are under the impression that they're going to die already, so they'll try and fight back with whatever resources they can get their hands on. But unfortunately, the Israeli supporters and news media can just throw the "HAMAS" label around in hopes of it sticking, giving them 100% unjustified support to murder civilians, hoping the world will believe that anyone who fights back, whether it be Hamas or just civilians - are terrorist.

This is so sickening. They literally have the world believing that the people of Gaza are all terrorist or supporting terrorist. And people like you becoming so gullible in believing anything you read, when the underlying facts are there to support that HAMAS does not hide behind civilian population.

This isn't a legitimate political group running the Israel government, these are barabric terrorist hiding behind military uniforms and high end-offices - ordering these attacks on Palestinian civilians.

This is just. .... for the past month i have been so affected by this. I just cannot believe our democratic governments are idly watching this happen and are just as much complicit in these war crimes. I cannot believe a state that was borne out of the Holocaust is doing this to another kind of people all just in the name of "defense". This is abhorrent, this is so vile and unjustifiable on all grounds.

No one here said they are supporters of the military branch of Hamas or that they condone their violence towards civilians.

Not all Hamas are militants, some who who work for Hamas, are public servants and civilians by the way.

Most Palestinians are not even affiliated to Hamas yet Israel and people like you try to deduce them as all Hamas to justify the slaughter of innocent civilians.

As someone mentioned, it is you and other pro Israeli debaters who are justifying the killings of innocent Palestinians and rehashing Israeli PR and lies to justify their slaughter.

This is about the Palestinian plight and the innocents being murdered. You do not have to be pro Israeli or pro Palestinian to stand up for humanity and to condemn the current slaughter of Palestinian civilians. You do not have to be on either side to acknowledge this is gravely wrong on all grounds for innocent Palestinians to be collectively punished in this evil and abominable manner.

Repped for posting the links. It's beautiful to see different people of different backgrounds and faiths (including many Jewish people) get together and protest like this.

Also crazy to think that 60,000 protest in our capital and I would have never known if it weren't for the internet.

I loved that one sign that said:
“Israel cut the **** out. You were killing my people long before Hamas was created. Sixty-six years under your occupation created Hamas!”

IDF targets weapons depots, strongholds, and Hamas fighters. Hamas targets civilians, breaks cease fires, and executes prisoners. The difference here is that the IDF is much stronger militarily. Ig Hamas had the same power there wouldnt be a Jew left alive in Jerusalem: hell there wouldnt be anypne left alive there because theyd kill Muslims just as quickly.
 
nvm, i don't want to be drawn into any arguments. just realize that this is not going to come down to which side has the moral high ground.

nothing's going to change. more innocent people are going to die needlessly, on both sides.

the only hope is a change in leadership and strategy.
